Objective: To assess the effectiveness of an oral health intervention project in Oxapampa, Peru, from April to July 2023. Materials and methods: This longitudinal study involved 135 primary education students from the I.E. Bardo Bayerle educational institution. The research focused on two main variables: dental caries experience, measured using the DMFT index and dmft, and oral hygiene, assessed through the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI). Both descriptive and bivariate statistical analyses were conducted. Results: At the initial assessment, the OHI was 1.42 (SD = 0.68). By the conclusion of the study, this value had decreased to 0.45 (SD = 0.29), with the reduction being statistically significant (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Positive results were achieved in the oral health intervention project "Let's Smile Together" in Oxapampa, Peru, from April to July 2023.

The relevance of this article lies in the need to study educational tourism as one of the ways to motivate students in educational process. The article discusses new technologies in the educational process, which must be made more saturated and practically applicable. Visualization and the ability to implement the acquired knowledge can interest students and increase their interest in learning the information included in the curriculum. The purpose of the study is to analyze the importance of educational tourism for students. Research methods: As research methods, the following ones were used: questionnaire survey of participants of educational tours and free-style interviews with teachers and organizers of educational tourism, allowing identifying such characteristics of educational tourism’s value for students as awareness of participants about the project, previous personal experi...

It's well known that the duration of the engineering programs in Latin American countries like Peru are of order of 5 years, roughly. Commonly, the target of the fifth year of program is to carry out activities of thesis and capstone projects. Clearly these activities would demand that the student can exhibit skills and a certain level of maturity which might be crucial for a successful completion of the projects. However, the expected performance of the students might be correlated to the educational features of the institution (university, technological institute, etc) to some extent. In this manner, in this paper we try to measure the quality of education (QoE) of a Peruvian engineering program through the application of a mathematical methodology based on the individual score of students along the time where the projects take place. Furthermore, the error of the model is interpreted ...

We have tested a scheme that measures the quality of education (QoE) in the network engineering program through the progress, outcomes or any evidence of the capstone project. We use simple relations based on efficiencies but weighted and with ambiguities. For this end, the performance of students are quantified through the definition of events which are actions that can help weakly or substantially to the progress of the project. In this manner students were suggested to use the following topics in the capstone: (i) Telecommunications, (ii) Basic Sciences and (iii) Programming, in their individual projects. The resulting statistics of the QoE was of order of 62% fact which is interpreted in the sense that one of three of the expected bachelors of engineering has not consolidated its knowledge in the courses with a poor correlation in conjunction to the topics of telecommunications.

Breast cancer is the second most common malignant neoplasm in women and is a global health problem. A developmental, longitudinal, prospective research study was carried out in the family doctor's office 31, of the 50th Anniversary Polyclinic of Nicaragua, Cuba from January 2018 to January 2021, with the objective of designing an educational program for the control of risk factors. modifiable risk of breast cancer in women. From a population of 128 women aged 25 to 75 years and over, a sample of 25 women was selected according to non-probabilistic sampling by criteria. It used descriptive statistics. In the study carried out, the age of 55 to 64 years prevailed, with a basic secondary school level. The results achieved show that women have risk factors for breast cancer, such as early menarche, alcohol consumption, smoking, and history of third-generation breast pathologies. The educatio...

The objective of the research is to determine the relationship between the directive pedagogical management and the Productive Educational Projects in the Educational Institutions of the district of Azángaro province of Yauyos - Lima, 2020. For its development, the correlational research was considered in which the link will be analyzed statistical between two variables, applying a questionnaire for each variable applied to a sample of 88 teachers, whose data collected were processed through the statistical program SPSS, in addition, Spearman's Rho was used with a margin of error of 5%. The results found a correlation level of 0,904 showing a relationship between directive pedagogical management and productive educational projects, due to the majority results of directive pedagogical management considered indifferent by 73.9%, which is linked to productive educational projects see...

The Tire Reuse Program of the Ministry of Industries and Productivity Ecuador, estimated that 300 thousand tires are destined to dumps or other sites and after the execution of the TINI recovered approximately 2% serving the ornament of the units under investigation. Bartlett's test was applied, whose significance is (P <0.01), which allowed rejecting the null hypothesis that the correlation matrix is equal to the identity matrix, and it is concluded that there is...

The project "From the tree to the painting" is an interdisciplinary educational innovation project, based on the STEAM education. This project aimed at the last courses of Primary Education, presents an interdisciplinary work between the areas of Sciences and Arts, developing a series of activities that have a common denominator: to know the main landscape of the Vega Alta del Segura of Murcia (Cieza), and its possibilities as a possible source of paper material. This project bases its work on the realization and application of the STEAM educational methodology, combining didactic activities from different areas of knowledge, but linked to science and art. Resulting in a program of 5 sessions, from a didactic output to an artistic exhibition, through the collection of raw material, creation of pulp and by testing with various pictorial techniques.

The research arises from the need to demonstrate that advertising with a priming effect can improve the domain of the vision and mission of an educational institution in students ofbasic education, specifically in their conceptions of social projection, environmental care and humanistic learning. Its objective was to determine the effects of priming in advertisingaimed at improving the domain of institutional purposes. The design was experimental, and the population, students of the VII cycle of EBR. The techniques used were the observationrecord and the survey, and descriptive statistics for information processing. The results show that advertising with a priming effect improves vision mastery, 25% more in the experimentalgroup than in the control group, and regarding the mission of the institution, the level of mastery is maintained.

The educational research project Integration and Assessment of Contemporary Art Processes in the Design of Learning Environments was implemented during the 2022-2023 academic year in the Early Childhood Education Teacher Degree program. Conducted under the REDICE 2022 initiative, its primary objective is to design, execute, and evaluate a training proposal based on contemporary art creation processes. The project employed an experimental, mixed-method study through correlational research structured across five distinct phases. The findings indicate significant shifts in students' perceptions and interactions with contemporary art, with a majority recognizing it as a valuable resource for creating impactful learning experiences in Early Childhood Education.
