Accurate determination of plant water status is mandatory to optimize irrigation scheduling and thus maximize yield. Infrared thermography (IRT) can be used as a proxy for detecting stomatal closure as a measure of plant water stress. In this study, an open-source software (Thermal Image Processor (TIPCIP)) that includes image processing techniques such as thermal-visible image segmentation and morphological operations was developed to estimate the crop water stress index (CWSI) in potato crops. Results were compared to the CWSI derived from thermocouples where a high correlation was found ( = 0.84). To evaluate the effectiveness of the software, two experiments were implemented. Introduction. Writing academic texts is one of the most frequent and complex activities carried out at the university. For this reason, it is important to specify which are the pedagogical strategies and tools that teachers use to teach writing. Objective: A systematic investigation was carried out on the main research related to techno-pedagogical strategies. Method: In this case, 35 research articles on the topic itself and 17 additional articles were consulted to support the methodology and context of the article. Results: The analysis focused on pedagogical strategies such as collaborative work, autonomous learning, and competency-based learning. La investigación aborda la problemática de los laboratorios de exámenes clínicos que brindan servicio en los Hospitales y clínicas privadas del Perú. Se analizó el caso del laboratorio R&T Lab que tiene el problema del aumento de mermas de reactivos en el proceso de análisis de exámenes clínicos por las causas de subutilización de reactivo abastecido, aumento de controles y otras que se describe más adelante. Estas causas ocasionan que los indicadores de eficiencia se encuentren por debajo del 20% de mermas de reactivos estipulados en los estándares del laboratorio Uni R&T Lab.
