Introduction: A common onset of acute abdomen that requires a quick operation is appendicitis, since it is more frequent in males than in females, affecting pediatric patients and adolescents from 10 to 20 years of age. There is obstruction of the appendicular lumen, due to fecaliths, hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicle, parasites and primary type carcinomas. Children do not express what they feel and this increases the risk of complications. The aim of the study is to better understand and assess the strategic effectiveness of three Peruvian SMEs, focusing on internationalization and information communication technologies. Through qualitative content and thematic analysis, the authors identify push and pull factors of internationalization and explore e-business tools and technologies. Of the three SMEs, two target the domestic market and consider internationalization as a reactive strategy to home market saturation. The third proactively targets overseas markets. Key barriers include limited expertise and technological resources. A descriptive framework of SME internationalization for the three studied SMEs is proposed that can be used to inform further substantive and correlational inquiry.

The study's main purpose was to determine the association between employer branding and organizational commitment in a company specializing in technological solutions for payment systems in Peru. The research was characterized by having a quantitative approach, being basic and with a nonexperimental - transversal design and a correlational scope. We worked with a census sample of 85 employees of the company studied, to which two questionnaires were applied, the first to measure the employer branding variable with 28 items, and the second to measure the organizational commitment variable with 26 items. Both instruments reported high reliability, evidenced by Cronbach's coefficients of 0.967 and 0.925, respectively. The objective of the research was to determine the impact of Digital Marketing on customer relationship management (CRM) in an educational institution in central Peru. The study was carried out from the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental correlational transactional research design. A questionnaire was applied to 228 parents between the ages of 30 and 50 who belong to an educational institution in the city of Concepción in Peru. La neuropatía periférica es una causa común de consulta en la atención primaria en salud, existen múltiples causas por lo que el diagnóstico etiológico es todo un reto; describimos el caso de una paciente mujer de 52 años con neuropatía periférica de fibras pequeñas confundida inicialmente como artritis reumatoide, los análisis de laboratorio y la biopsia plantearon el diagnóstico de un síndrome tirogástrico como causa de la neuropatía periférica, así mismo la evolución del cuadro fue favorable luego del tratamiento. These applications are designed with cloud-native web architectures, operate on an elastic self-service platform, and stand out because of their resilience and elasticity. Continuous software engineering integrates requirements engineering, development, and operations in a continuous loop with reciprocal feedback to produce quality software. The present work proposes to design and implement a cloud-native application applied to the SIGCON case study from a continuous software engineering perspective. It uses the CaaS cloud service model, applies the BFF pattern in software construction, containerizes the frontend, backend, and storage, and presents the results.

Objective. The objective of this review is to analyze the most recent evidence on the usefulness of glucocorticoids in patients with Inflammation Related to Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy (IrCAA). The paper introduces the average internal rate of return (AIRR) into the mathematic fuzzy's frame, like alternative method for estimating returns in ambiguity situations. In the first part it is developed the AIRR and its fuzzy version like an alternative of return determination under ambiguity situations. Next, with a hypothetical case, the consistency with the present value (PV) in the projects ranking at conflictive situations is illustrated. In case of uncertainty, the equality between the AIRR estimated over the expected cash flows or as expected AIRR is showed. Finally, and like a measurement for estimating average returns in vague situations, it is set out the fuzzy AIRR, comparing results with the fuzzy PV and IRR methods.

En este artículo se presenta un modelo teórico del tipo Barro-Ricardo (BR), que vincula la política fiscal, el consumo y la demanda agregada. En este marco, mostraremos cómo la teoría keynesiana puede ser presentada como un caso particular del modelo BR. Posteriormente, abordaremos la discusión acerca de los efectos de la política fiscal sobre el consumo y la demanda agregada, y mostraremos cómo, en ciertas condiciones, la política fiscal actúa en la dirección keynesiana y, en otras, en la dirección ricardiana.

To determine whether age, duration of symptoms, fever, Alvarado score ≥7 and leukocytosis are risk factors associated with CAA in children. Materials and methods: Observational, analytical and retrospective case-control study. We reviewed 105 medical records of children aged 2 to 14 years with acute appendicitis under selection criteria. Logistic regression was used in the analysis. Results: We found an association between CAA and leukocytosis > 15 000/ml (OR 2.39; 95% CI: 1.04-5.51; p = 0.038) and Alvarado scale score ≥ 7 (OR 4.04; 95% CI: 1.28-12.80; p = 0.013). No significant association was found between CAA and age < 6 years (OR 0.33; 95% CI: 0.07-1.56; p = 0.142), duration of symptoms ≥ 48 hours (OR 1.15; 95% CI: 0.47-2.77; p =0.762) or body temperature ≥ 38.5 °C (OR 1.55; 95% CI: 0.33-7.33; p = 0.58). Los autores analizan en el marco de la gobernanza a través del crimen que se ha extendido actualmente en el mundo, principalmente en los países periféricos, la razonabilidad y legitimidad de la mal denominada pena de muerte, que constituye un clamor popular y revela una de las manifestaciones más visibles del populismo punitivo de nuestros días. El objetivo del artículo es fomentar la toma de conciencia respecto a la necesidad de una estricta cautela criminológica en el ejercicio del ius puniendi estatal, cuyo uso selectivo, discriminatorio y violento crea criminalidad, derecho de castigar que en el caso de la máxima pena, concluyen los autores, devendría en el ocaso de la pena toda vez que semejante acto de crueldad insólita es impropio del concepto penal de sanción en un sistema penal democrático.
