El presente trabajo se ubica en el marco de la Lexicografía moderna, disciplina que con el paso del tiempo se desarrolla con recursos cada vez más rigurosos y que en el presente estudio da cuenta de parte del léxico de cobradores de combi. Uno de los factores que motivó la investigación que desarrollaré aquí fue que en el continuo ir y venir en combi me vi ante la necesidad de tratar de entender las formas de expresión usadas por los cobradores en dicho medio de transporte.

Este trabajo se refiere a cartografía colonial amazónica de fines del siglo XVII, pero publicada a comienzos del siglo XVIII. Se trata específicamente de la obra del misionero jesuita Samuel Fritz de la antigua "Misión de Maynas". EL objetivo es tener una mirada de las lenguas amazónicas a partir de tres documentos cartográficos del padre Fritz, los mismos que permiten conocer los espacios geográficos que ocuparon determinadas lenguas y los que ocupan hoy algunas que sobreviven.

This paper aims to provide a concise account of the progress made in the study of the correspondence sustained over nearly three decades (1962- 1991) between the Argentine linguist María Beatriz Fontanella de Weinberg, professor and researcher at the Universidad Nacional del Sur (Bahía Blanca), and her colleague —and in many regards mentor— Guillermo Guitarte, who at the start of their epistolary exchange was already based abroad, first briefly in Colombia and then in the United States. These letters not only document the exchange concerning the specific research issues of both correspondents, but also their perception of the conditions that would allow for the institutionalization of scientific practice in the area of linguistics in the country during the period in question.

El presente trabajo de investigación contó con el objetivo general de determinar la influencia de las condiciones de trabajo en la satisfacción laboral de los egresados de la Escuela Académico-Profesional de Lingüística de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos en empresas públicas y privadas de Lima-2017, los objetivos específicos implican las dimensiones del contenido del empleo, el puesto de labor, el entorno del puesto y las relaciones sociales. Se empleó el enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación es descriptivo y correlacional, además el diseño de investigación es no experimental (clasificación transeccional). Historians studying the pre-Inca era, the Inca Empire, and the colonial period often do not know Quechua and are unaware of the importance of knowing the language. This article will show, through a series of examples, the problems that can arise from this lack of knowledge. Each example illustrates a problem and offers a suggestion for resolving it.

This paper consists of two first-person reports of linguists working in the documentation of endangered languages. We narrate two opposite situations: that of Guató, a language with only two speakers, survivors of a long process of colonization, and that of the language spoken by the Xinane people, a monolingual recently-contacted group.We make use of these two examples to problematize the concept of "isolation": the Xinane situation is, in fact, one of de-isolation (contact), carefully planned and executed by young people, after three generations of isolation motivated by white violence. Vicente, on the other hand, one of the two last rememberers of the guató language can be more literally characterized as one of voluntary isolation, despite the 400 years of contact of his fragmented people. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental define como el estudio de la estructura y funcionamiento del sonido en las lenguas del mundo, por consiguiente, la fonética es la parte de la lingüística que se ocupa de los sonidos del habla.
