Assuming that the passing of time is reflected in each individual, preventing its stagnation, and that all interpretations must be temporally and spatially contextualized, the contract is studied here according to its changes in the last two centuries, changes that were propelled, at first, by the transition from the Liberal state to the Welfare state and, later on, by its replacement for the Democratic state of Law.

Soon, in the year 2021, Peru will reach its bicentennial as a Nation. That is why a debate has arisen and crosses not only the domains of national historiography but even those of the social sciences as a whole. That «revival» of the republican state proposal, it is not new in Peru, but may be so, now that it is confronted and on the other hand, in relation to the consequences that these actions will involve to give way interpretations of the configuration of the Peruvian reality. The present article inquiries about that theoretical, political and republican rebirth, analysing the scope of one of its main disseminators. Thus, it seeks to present a theoretical balance, of the same, from the tradition of national critical thinking.

A clear perception of the relationship between the Historical Centers and the city is vital to deter- mine the planning process. The management of the values and attributes of the Historic Center are a constant challenge that must be faced in the best way with citizen participation in the frame- work of strategic planning. The aim of this research is to analyze the planning of historical centers, through two Latin American experiences where the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) approach has been applied. The cases correspond to the Historic Center of Lima-Peru and the Historic Center of Cuenca-Ecuador. Although this approach, promoted by Unesco since 2011, is controversial and de- batable among experts in the field, it is considered necessary and important to know how this new tool for the planning of historic centers is being implemented and the results it is generating.

The most recent approaches to historic centers propose the need to understand these sectors by incorporating the concept of historic urban landscapes. This term proposes an integral perception of the city and its surroundings, its historical physical-environmental, sociocultural and economic processes; in addition, it encourages the incorporation of contemporary architecture, respecting the inherited urban landscape, its landscape environment and sustainable urban development. The toilet is one of the greatest inventions created by man. This device has made life easier for millions of people, sothat they can do their physiological needs in a comfortable and hygienic way, which has contributed to public health,reducing diseases that are transmitted by feces and water contaminated by them. However, in the 21st century, people withlimited economic resources still do not have access to a toilet, putting their health, that of their family and that of their community at risk, which increases the mortality rate, especially in children under five years of age. Likewise, the transmission of diseases was also due to the use of various materials that were used for hygiene throughout history, withtoilet paper being the one that most helped to improve personal hygiene; but still, millions of people do not use it because itis scarce.

Clinotherapy or “bed rest” was first introduced as a treatment for mental illness in 1852, with the aim of inhibit the “consciousness of movement” and peripheral excitation, in order to make it possible a “psychological rest”. At the beginning, clinotherapy, along with open door and non-restraint principles, meant an alternative to seclusion rooms, straitjackets and other restrictive practices. However, over time it became a simple seclusion in a room, many times in inappropriate conditions.

The study of the «Derecho indiano» has focused, mainly, on the instances of the different bodies of the secular power. However, to fully understand this legal tradition, it is also necessary to refer to the canon law, proper to the Catholic Church, which had a decisive influence on the conformation of the Colonial Hispanic America. Its discovery has followed his own dynamic, in which the study of the conciliar tradition of the different ecclesiastical provinces has been fundamental. In the present article we want to reconstruct the historiographical process that allowed us to discover the historicity of the Third Mexican Provincial Council, with emphasis on what happened between 1958 and 1987. Then the most important documentary findings were made and the questions that still guide our efforts were raised.

This essay intends to analyse some clues to establish a period regarding the definition of Rural Space in Peru; from the quantitative measurements made since the end of the 30s of the last century, and that will be repeated considering the following national information gathering. This article contains a historical summary of the debates generated in the country around the participation of workers. Takes as object of analysis the discussion produced from the initiative or promulgation of laws that recognize the right of the workers to participate in the benefits of the enterprise and its direction. The purpose of the article is not to bring back past discussions but to contribute to the knowledge of the goals and consequences derived from the regimes of participation. It also tries to clarify the role of law and the State in the legislative process and the influence that the groups of power can have in the gestation of laws.
