“Sustainability may be at risk in a population that has altered health, according to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Health and well-being. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine could jeopardize SDG 3, specifically the mental health of the population. The present study sought to determine the association between severe anxiety, depression and stress in population of 13 Latin American countries according to fear about the war conflict. It was a crosssectional, analytical and multicenter study. Anxiety, depression and stress were measured with the DASS-21 test (Cronbach’s Alpha: 0.97) and fear due to an armed crisis with a questionnaire already validated in Latin America (Cronbach’s Alpha: 0.92), which was also adjusted for sex, age, education level and country of residence. .As an essential component of medical work throughout history, Ethics becomes even more prominent in public health emergency situations. After presenting the fundamental ethical principles, and emphasizing their value in the medical care of every human being, the inevitable tensions that their application generates in the diverse contexts of the doctor-patient relationship, are examined. Particular attention must be paid to the distinctions between ethical perspectives of individual cases and those related to public health situations such as the massive emergency triggered by the COVID-1 pandemic. On the basis of recent national and international documents, the unavoidable upcoming of new ethical norms that must include socio-cultural, psychological and legal aspects of a highly significant clinical impact, is discussed.

Objectives: To present an instrument in Mixtec, Zapotec, and Spanish to assess the mental health of indigenous Oaxacan communities from Mexico. To provide suggestions on how this instrument could be useful for indigenous communities in other Latin American regions. Methods: This manuscript includes a literature review of articles published in mental health among communities originating from Oaxaca, Mexico and presents the process followed in the development of a culturally appropriate mental health instrument. It was a descriptive, cross-sectional, psychometric validation study of a scale created to measure self-care behaviors in relation to COVID-19 in a total sample of 333 probabilistically selected. Qualitative validity was evaluated by a review of 10 experts and quantitative validity by means of exploratory factor analysis using the principal components method. Internal consistency was measured with Cronbach’s alpha twice and the test-retest was evaluated by calculating the intraclass coefficient. The final scale consisted of 29 items. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test of adequacy yielded a value of 0.926, and the Bartlett’s test of sphericity X² = 4611 with a p-value < 0.001. Sexual violence is an alarming public health problem that affects Peruvian society. The situation of this problem is reviewed in terms of its characterization, prevalence in the country, and conditions in which this problem is developed. Then the impact of this problem on society in general as well as on mental health. Subsequently, relevant actions to consider in the prevention and elimination of sexual violence are analyzed, understanding that this problem requires a multisectoral intervention, considering socio-cultural, biopsychological, and legal aspects.

This essay addresses the importance and significance of the conception of the meaning of life and its subsequent enrichment throughout a person's life, as well as its implication in a therapeutic process, all as an essential part of strengthening health mental. Reflection and analysis of the author from the review of bibliographic sources in a methodical and systematic way, articles, research reports and scientific psychology journals indexed in electronic databases, as well as, the use of physical and digital books. Having a healthy, inspiring and intrinsic sense of life allows strengthening the foundations of mental health, as well as contributing significantly to the entire therapeutic process, exercising prevention and timely intervention.

The objective of this study was to analyze the available literature on maladaptive patterns in intimate partner violence and psychological well-being, from the descriptive review of the literature; for this purpose, a search was conducted in EBSCOhost, Scielo, Scopus, ProQuest and Science Direct, considering the search terms “schemes”, “violence”, “psychological well-being” and “health” mental. Objective: To identify the degree of depression, anxiety and stress in the adult population aged 20 to 40 years in Centla, municipality of Frontera Tabasco, Mexico. Method: Quantitative descriptive cross-sectional research carried out on 222 subjects between the ages of 20 and 40 through non-probability sampling for convenience given the accessibility of the participants. The DASS-21 Scale was used, which was designed to measure negative emotional states such as depression, anxiety and stress, the data were processed through the statistical program SPSS V23.
