This study tested the hypothesis that the importance and valence of work factors are related by a V function: the greater the importance, the more extreme the positivo or negative valence. Importance pertained to abstract work dimensions (e.g., Pay) and valence to concrete elements (e.g., a salary of 1'200,000 soles). Tite results of between and within subjects correlational analyses supported the hypothesis, though in greater extent when ratings rather than rankings were used to measure importance.

The level of satisfaction in tourists and visitors of Canet d’en Berenguer, Cullera and Oliva, municipalities belonging to the province of Valencia in the Valencian Community, Spain, is assessed by means of a satisfaction survey, which was applied to 669 individuals. Also, in brief, the tourist offer of these tourist destinations is presented based on data from 2017, where there is a preference for beach tourist destinations, with a strong presence of national tourists who develop family activities. In addition, it is verified that the level of satisfaction with the destinations is high, with the intention of returning, even in cold periods. The incorporation of services is recommended throughout the year, to overcome the seasonal cycles of the destinations and promote a sustainable tourism.

This paper presents the results of a research work carried out on cyber-plagiarism in university online language teaching and translation training. Following a theoretical review of cyber-plagiarism and an analysis of the reasons behind this phenomenon in education, an ad hoc survey was conducted on students in the first courses of the Translation and Interpretation degree at the International University of Valencia (VIU). The purpose of this instrument was to analyze how students use other people’s intellectual property to develop their own academic activities. From the results obtained, students (n=73) still do not have a clear idea of how and when to reference their sources. Moreover, they need some training to ensure they reference correctly. This research aimed to characterize orange (Citrus sinensis) peel flour from the Valencia variety for its optimal use in the agro-industry. The study evaluated the physicochemical and phytochemical properties of orange peel flour subjected to drying temperatures of 60 °C and 70 °C, along with drying air velocities of 3 m/s and 5 m/s for each temperature. The drying process was conducted using a fluidized bed dryer. Statistical analysis revealed that the optimal temperature was 60 °C and the most suitable air velocity was 3 m/s for better preservation of physicochemical properties, specifically crude fiber (13.43%) and ash content (4.50%). Regarding phytochemical properties, the best results were achieved at 60 °C with a drying velocity of 5 m/s, yielding higher retention of polyphenols (782.52 ± 0.01 mg EAG/100 g) and antioxidant capacity (12.19 ± 0.28 DPPH/µmol ET/g of sample).

La zona no tiene antecedentes de peste bubónica ni epizootias. La sintomatología presentada fue fiebre, malestar general, cefalea y ganglios inflamados.

This paper proposes a new approach to managing and curating exhibitions, analyzing two exhibition projects with a strong participatory emphasis, focusing on the social aspect of these proposals. In both cases, the curators have prepared ajoint educational discourse. The Valencian «Disease’s Calligraphy» and the Buenos Aires «When I say School» consider the visitors as actors, performers and builders of meanings. The exhibitions create conditions of appropriation of heritage and offer quality experiences for different users developing their perspectives, knowledge, narrative and emotions.

The context of worker cooperatives is significantly different from that of traditional firms, and so the study of entrepreneurship also differs considerably. The analysis of the creation of worker cooperatives requires differentiated approaches, as the more conventional models of entrepreneurship do not prove adequate to this end. We analyze certain determinants of the entrepreneurial process from a sociocultural perspective, which is applicable specifically to this type of firm.
