Se trata de una investigación de tipo cuasi-experimental, con un diseño pre y post-test, aplicada a una muestra de estudiantes de la carrera de Zootecnia. Los principales resultados mostraon que el programa educativo tuvo un impacto significativo en las dimensiones cognitiva, afectiva y activa, mejorando los conocimientos, actitudes emocionales y participación activa de los estudiantes en cuestiones ambientales. Sin embargo, no se observó un cambio significativo en la dimensión conativa, relacionada con las intenciones de actuar proactivamente. Como conclusión, el programa educativo basado en inteligencia naturalista puede ser efectivo para mejorar la conciencia ambiental en estudiantes universitarios, aunque se recomienda incluir más actividades prácticas, para fortalecer la acción directa frente a los problemas ambientales.
