ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND SELF-EVALUATION ACCORDING TO THE STUDENTS OF A PUBLIC UNIVERSITY OF PERU

El clima organizacional ha tomado relevanciaen el proceso de autoevaluación desarrollado por lasuniversidades, como primera etapa de la acreditación.La investigación tomó como objetivo determinar larelación entre clima organizacional y autoevaluaciónsegún los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de laComunicación de la Universidad Nacional del Centrodel Perú. El estudio fue básico, cuantitativo, de diseñodescriptivo correlacional simple. La población estuvocompuesta por 314 estudiantes, el tamaño de muestrafue de 174 alumnos distribuidos en 10 ciclos mediante elmuestreo por estratos. El proceso de prueba de hipótesishizo uso del coeficiente r de Pearson, obteniéndose unar de 0,684 y sig.<0.05. La lectura de estos resultadosdetermina que existe una relación positiva media entreclima organizacional y autoevaluación en la muestra deestudio.
The organizational climate has taken relevance inthe self-assessment process developed by universities,as the first stage of accreditation. The research aimedto determine the relationship between organizationalclimate and self-assessment according to the studentsof the Faculty of Communication Sciences of theNational University of Central Peru. The study was basic,quantitative, with a simple correlational descriptive design.The population was composed of 314 students; the samplesize was 174 students distributed in 10 cycles throughstrata sampling. The hypothesis test process made useof Pearson’s r coefficient, obtaining an r of 0.684 andsig.<0.05. Reading these results determines that thereis a positive average relationship between organizationalclimate and self-evaluation in the study sample.
