This treatment was carried out in a 58 years old male patient, who has had the antecedent of a car crash accident two years before; he loosed several teeth and fractured others. Pulp necrosis and alteration of occlusal plane occurred. Because of the pathologies presented, it was installed a multidisciplinary treatment phase having periodontal, endodontic, surgical and orthodontic procedures, tehe installation of posts, crowns and fixed bridges. Treatment was carried out for five months.

The data was recorded using OMS codes for Oral Health Surveys. It was determined that urban school children are 5,5 % caries free and marginal urban school children 2,3 % caries free. There were 40 evaluated patients between 53 and 86 years old, previous calibration. In order to determine the changes into the mucosa of support, all patients underwent a cytological smear. Each sample was stained with the Papanicolaou technique and performed with Bethesda system. The results indicated that 95 % had mucosal lesions, of which 10 % had dysplasia cells, 7.5% leukoplakia stomatitis 55 %, 17.5 % hyperplasia, 5 % ulcer. The 90 % of the prostheses presented instability. No significant difference was observed in the different occlusal schemes.
