What prompted me to carry out this investigation was the problem generated by solid plastic waste in the heroic city. This research had as objectives: (1) take advantage of the PET plastic solid waste to build an ecological room in Tacna, (2) determine the interior and exterior temperature of the building and (3) identify the advantages and disadvantages of ecological construction vs. a traditional construction. The ecological room had dimensions of 4.5 m x 3.5 m x 2.0 m and 3 200 plastic PET bottles compacted with soil were necessary for its construction. To prepare the complementary mixture used in the building, water, clay, farmland and dry Cynodon dactylon were used, in proportions of 6, 5, 4 and 0.05, respectively. Air pollution in the city of Tacna, Peru, mainly attributed to its vehicle fleet, is a problem that has been evident for decades, slowly affecting the health of people, animals and the environment. The present investigation sought to determine to what extent the time of day, the places of monitoring and their interaction influence the levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the main points of the aforementioned city. Likewise, CO levels were compared with the Environmental Air Quality Standards according to Supreme Decree No. 003 - 2017 - MINAM (Peruvian regulations) and, finally, the degree of association between the number of motorized vehicles transiting through the area and the concentrations of these pollutants was determined. El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con la consigna de determinar la influencia del nivel socioeconómico en la conciencia ambiental de la población del Distrito Coronel Gregorio Albarracín Lanchipa (DCGAL), de la ciudad de Tacna durante el año 2021. Para lograr esto, fue necesario entrevistar a una muestra conformada por 385 habitantes. The valorization of agro-industrial by-products constitutes a key strategy for the development of sustainable ingredients. In this context, grape pomace, a residue generated during winemaking, represents a potential source of bioactive compounds and nutrients with applications in the food industry. The objective of this study was to evaluate and compare the proximate composition of flours produced from pomaces of two Vitis vinifera varieties (Negra Criolla and Italia), in order to identify relevant nutritional differences. Fresh pomaces were collected, subjected to drying, milling, and subsequent proximate chemical analysis following standardized methods. The present investigation sought to perform a comparative evaluation of water hyacinth (Eichhornia Crassipes) and water lettuce (Pistia Stratiotes) for the treatment of wastewater from the stabilization ponds of Magollo, Tacna - Peru. Therefore, the present study aimed to: Optimize the doses of moringa (Moringa oleifera) and cassava starch (Manihot esculenta) assisted by sodium hydroxide as coagulants for the purification of waters from the Caplina River in Tacna. Compost is a natural fertilizer that is obtained from the use of solid organic waste, limiting the environmental impact that it causes. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the influence of Mende and water in the pH stabilization, and the efficiency of the compost made from waste from green areas of the District of Tacna. A 3x3 multilevel factorial design was used. It was verified that a dose of 1.5 L of Mende and 33.5 L of water achieve a pH of 7.95 and a compost obtaining efficiency of 38.80 %. After laboratory analysis, it was determined that this compost managed to meet the internationally required parameters (temperature, organic matter, C/N ratio, humidity, total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) in the EPA 40CFR 503, Mexico NTEA-006 – SMA-2006 and Chile Nch 2880 2004.
