Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar si la actitud hacia la investigación científica influye en el conocimiento de investigación formativa en estudiantes universitarios de Trujillo. Se empleó un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, correlacional causal, con 286 estudiantes de distintas carreras matriculados en cursos de investigación formativa en una universidad privada de Trujillo. Utilizando la Escala de Actitudes hacia la Investigación (EACIN-R) y un test de conocimientos en investigación formativa, se encontró que la mayoría de los estudiantes (37.8%) mostraron una actitud neutra hacia la investigación y un nivel inicial en el conocimiento de investigación formativa. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que se encuentran asociados al rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. El presente estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, se ubicó en el diseño no experimental, transversal y descriptiva_correlacional.
