Introducción: El hostigamiento sexual en el ámbito laboral es de conocimiento y objeto de denuncia por sus víctimas; sin embargo, son escasas las evidencias científicas en el ámbito universitario. Objetivos: Desarrollar un cuestionario que proporcione datos confiables y válidos sobre la percepción de hostigamiento sexual en estudiantes universitarios. Objective: To determine the iron nutrition status in 4 to 14 yearold children. Design: Descriptive, observational, transversal and prospective study. Setting: Faculty of Medicine, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Participants: Four to fourteen year-old children. Interventions: We studied 349 children 4 to 14 year-old, 170 males and 179 females, at San Genaro Health Center, Chorrillos, from September 2001 through August 2002. Main outcome measures: Iron nutritional status. Results: From these children, 68,8% (240) did not present alteration in iron nutrition status (INS), compared with 31,2% who presented this alteration. Objective: To determine the presence of metabolic syndrome in overweight and obese adolescent population. Design: Clinical study. Setting: Endocrinology service. Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. Participants: Adolescents. Interventions: We studied 195 adolescents between 10 to 19 year-old. Inclusion criteria was that they should be overweight or obese. We used the reference population of Must et al. with the following diagnosis criteria: 85 to 95 percentile, overweight; higher than 95 percentile, obese. Weight, height and waist circumference (WC) were taken following international recommendations. Metabolic syndrome determination followed Cook recommendations (TG > 110, cholesterol HDL < 40 mg/dL, glycemia > 110 mg/dL y WC > 90 percentile), the presence of three or more of these criteria indicated metabolic syndrome. Objectives: The study aims to estimate the prevalence and associated factors of depression in the peruvian older adults using the results of the Demographic and Family Health Survey 2014-2015 (ENDES). Design: The study was observational, transversal and analytic. Institution: UNMSM. Participants: Olders adults. Interventions: Probabilistic sample of 11411 older adults who participated in the ENDES 2014-2015.
