La interrelación entre el poder y el estado, entre los poderosos y la política, no es un fenómeno de reciente conocimiento, es uno constante, y que en países con órganos estatales débiles se evidencia con mayor fuerza lo que conocemos como conflicto de intereses. The Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN) is a national reference center in Peru where the largest number of pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are treated. Methods: Patientes ages 1 to less than 15 years with diagnosis of ALL who received treatment according to the modified 2002 intercontinental Berlin-Frankfurt-Münster (IC-BFM) ALL protocol. Risk stratification was based on age, leukocyte count, extramedullary involvement (CNS, testicular), genetics, and response to initial treatment. Results: From 2014 to 2017, 652 patients were treated, which included 113 with lowrisk ALL, 120 with intermediate-risk ALL, 308 with high-risk ALL, and 103 with very high-risk ALL. Introduction: Primary central nervous system (CNS) sarcomas are one of the rarest tumors in pediatrics, and an increase in the frequency of these cases has been observed in Peru. This article describes the clinical, demographic characteristics, and survival of pediatric patients with this condition diagnosed at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN). Methods: This is a descriptive observational case series study of a retrospective longitudinal design. Data was collected from 51 patients aged 0-18 years diagnosed with malignant CNS sarcoma between 2009 and 2019 at INEN, and statistical analysis was conducted using the STATA software program. Results: The male-to-female ratio was 1.23. The most common birthplace was Lima. The average age was 7.6 years, and the most frequent location was supratentorial (96.08%; 49/51). Background: To provide recommendations based on the best available scientific evidence for the multidisciplinary management of febrile neutropenia. The development included the stages: approval of the creation of the Working Group (WG); CPG search; analysis and synthesis of the evidence that led to establishing the recommendation of the selected CPGs, design of the consensus document, internal review. All phases were carried out through panel meetings using virtual platforms during 03 months. The “GRADE” system was used to establish the strength and direction of the recommendations.
