Chondracanthus chamissoi is a red seaweed of commercial importance that is intensively harvested along the Peruvian coast, so it is necessary to have a greater knowledge that leads to develop their cultivation. In this study, specimens from three locations were grown: Paiján (7°46’S; 79°25’W), Ancón (11°46’S; 77°11’W) and Mendieta (14°3’S; 76°15’W). The feasibility of the carpospores methodology is postulated as an alternative to develop its cultivation. In addition, it is proposed that there are similarities in reproductive potential (PR) and the first stages of culture (spore release, settlement and growth) between localities. This paper was conducted to examine the effect of paternalistic and Western leadership style using a sample of 326 subordinates. Due to insufficient number of studies about the type of relationship between subordinates’ responses and leadership type, this study aimed to determine whether paternalistic and Western leadership has a positive impact on managing subordinates. The respondents are employed at a wide variety of firms around Peru, such as Banking, Informational Technology, Commerce, Supply Chain, Construction and Law. Work stress resulting from lack of coping strategies is a problem that affects several organizations. This study aimed to identify the level of perceived stress, and coping styles in a sample of 120 executives in Peru. Coping strategies for stress were also classified using three categories: problem centered, emotion centered, and other coping. The results showed that the executives experienced a moderate level of stress, and preferred a coping style centered on meaning or perception (i.e., emotion and other coping). Porphyra spp., conocida en Perú como “cochayuyo”, es un alga roja consumida y comercializada en los mercados locales. Sin embargo, su producción proviene íntegramente de la actividad extractiva por lo cual es necesario desarrollar su cultivo. Así mismo, los principales factores que afectan el proceso de cultivo son la luz (intensidad y fotoperíodo) y la temperatura. In order to determine the effect of photoperiod and the addition of commercial foliar nutrient at different concentrations in the biomass increasing of Pyropia sp. CHI, gametophytic individuals were collected in Santa Elena beach, Paracas - Pisco and transferred to Applied Biology Laboratory of Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. The thalli were divided into groups of 1,0 ± 0,02 g of initial biomass and placed in flasks with enriched sea water with three different concentrations of Bayfolan® commercial foliar nutrient (0,1 ml/L; 0,05 m/L; and 0,025 ml/L) and a control treatment (0 ml/L) against two photoperiod conditions: long day (DL) (L/O = 18:6) and short day (DC) (L/O = 6:18). Aflatoxins cause a variety of disorders in poultry, especially affecting the liver (aflatoxicosis). Contaminated livers may become a health risk to consumers when expended in food markets. The purpose of the present study was to detect the presence of aflatoxins in chicken livers in Lima food markets. Samples were collected in 16 markets located in various socioeconomic sectors of Lima. From every market livers were subclassified as normal and apparently suspicious. Analysis of 32 samples was conducted at the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Nutrition and Animal Feeding, Veterinary Medicine Faculty, San Marcos University. Aflatoxins were determined through the ELISA method approved by the AOAC Research Institute, using the Veratox HS (high sensitivity, 0, 1, 2, 4, and 8 ppb). Specifically, is analyzed the case of fashion films, an advertising format that has broken out in the sector of fashion and luxury products with great success, and whose objective is to generate content specifically for a particular fashion brand, in which beauty and aesthetic predominates, but above all, allows to communicate the values and personality of the brand and thus connect with the consumer.

This paper aims to point out the roots that have shaped the platform that sustains and justifies the existence of a new marketing formula focused in the individual consumer experience. As this consumer society has oriented its demands almost exclusively in image, based on motivational theories and lifestyle, marketing activity has followed a gradual change, exposed in the phenomenon of mass customization. In the last decades of last century -and early years of the current- we have gone through radical changes in core areas of human activity as social, cultural, economic and political. New trends have spread around the world, especially in western societies and those with established western influence. Many scholars from different disciplines attribute these changes in life and in the social conditions as a result of the same phenomenon known as postmodernism. Under this premise, this paper attempts to explain how this condition is affecting the current marketing theory and determined the conditions under which it operates its practice. Its influence becomes more important when considering the leading role played by the marketing in the postmodern phenomenon.

Given this reality, the experiential marketing formula has managed to solve this need by proposing actions that generate consumer experience and maximize the value of products and services allowing the consumer to establish an emotional, rational or sensory connection with brands during the purchase process. This article is an analysis of the marketing experiences offered by retailers of clothing and footwear from major shopping centers in Piura. The objective of this work is to define the experiential formula offered by each store of modern retail of the two main shopping centers and determine wich stores give importance to the consumer experience.

El fundamento de este libro es el vertiginoso proceso de cambio que han afrontado los medios de comunicación de masas desde la llegada de Internet. Pero los cambios drásticos nunca son una novedad en el terreno de la comunicación. Muy por el contrario, han sido una constante en su evolución, dibujando escenarios siempre complejos para las relaciones entre los viejos y los nuevos medios.
