In the present work we perform the systematic study, employing X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectrometry, of the variation of the structural and hyperfine parameters during the milling process of the icosahedral Al64Cu23Fe13 quasicrystal. For this purpose, the samples were prepared by arc-furnace technique followed by heat treatment. Then, the samples were nanoestructured in a high energy ball milling equipment during 5, 10, 15, 20, 45, 50 and 60 hours. The X-ray diffraction patterns show the stability of the nanoestructured samples. Furthermore, the Mössbauer spectra indicate the increase of the Fe-sites in the grain boundary during the milling process.

Located in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, the Doñana salt marshes occupy around half of Doñana National Park and are currently considered among the most important wetlands worldwide due to the importance of their ecosystem. In this research work, using a novel patented procedure, the effects of climate change on the study area between 2009 and 2020 were evaluated. For this reason, DEMs were downloaded from the 30-meter Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). Furthermore, to check the depth of the flooded area, 792 satellite images (L5 TM, L7 ETM+, and L8 OLI) with a resolution of 30 m were analyzed. This thesis will be oriented in the study of open quantum systems. The transition of processes that go between the Markovian and non-Markovian regime will be studied. The diagnose of non-Markovianity will be made in terms of the variation of the coherence of the state. Accordingly, an optical setup will be implemented that allows us to manipulate certain degrees of freedom, like the polarization and the optical path. Theoretically, we have found that the coherence of the system is transferred to the environment and it decreases as we move a parameter that we will take as time. This situation has been confirmed in the experiment. Then, due to the second part of the setup, which produces a non-Markovian evolution by also changing one of its parameters, we have accomplished the goal of returning the information back into the system and to measure the non-Markovianity of the process.

Forearc basins are important archives for understanding the tectonic evolution of the plate margin and subduction zone through deep time because they preserve a tectonostratigraphic record of temporal and spatial interactions of eustasy, sediment supply, climate, basin physiography and tectonism. However, forearc basins have received less attention than rift and foreland basins, due to the limited number of exposed examples and classification traditionally restricted to accretionary margins. In this work, we study the crystallization and surface morphology of Cu thin films (exposed to environment) growth on SiO2/Si subsstrates. The samples thermally treated using a tubular furnace bet ween temperature range 250-1000ºC during an elapsed time of 3 hours, after was cooling to a rate of 1.4ºC/min. The crystalization process was measured by X-ray difraction (XRD), meanwhile the surface morphology was observed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results was analyzed and permit us to know the temperature dependecy of the dynamics of surface atoms on the Cu/SiO2 system, are the range between 400-500ºC. During the annealing an oxidation process on sample surfaces occur and the presence of Cu silicides are detected.

Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. The objective of the research is to identify the most representative variables considered critical for success in adoption processes in technology applicable to projects based on information technology and communications (ICT) in the framework of the digital transformation of organizations. For its identification, a cause-and-effect analysis is applied where the relationships that exist between ICT projects emerge and a categorization of technology projects for digital transformation framed in a classic evolution of projects, it is believed that before undertaking projects of this type it is important to consult this article in order to know in advance the variables that will guarantee successful projects.

This dissertation investigates the potential improvement of volcanic eruption understanding and forecasting methods by using advanced data processing techniques to analyze large datasets at three target volcanoes (Piton de la Fournaise (PdlF) (France), Sabancaya, and Ubinas (Peru)). The central objective of this study is to search for possible empirical relationships between the pre-eruptive behavior of the accelerated increase in seismic activity using the Failure Forecast Method (FFM) and velocity variations measured by Coda Wave Interferometry (CWI), since both observations are reported to be independently associated with medium damage. This article is based on research conducted by the authors between 2011 and 2012, in the framework of the implementation of research projects, sponsored by the Scientifi c Research Institute of the University of Lima (IDIC). In such research, the technological evolution of the Datacenter was analyzed, and the creation of the technology and management aspects of a Virtualized Datacenter (DCV) were proposed, in order to provide services for the development of laboratories in the academic university fi eld. The findings of this research were applied in the planning process of the “Laboratory Datacenter” of the Systems Engineering Career at the University of Lima, which was used in implementing the new syllabus.

The pedagogical approach to strategies for the improvement of students’ reading comprehension is one of the main challenges of education in Peru. In the case of the Tacna region, this improvement has gone hand in hand with educational innovation, mainly during the transition period between the exams to control the evolution of educational parameters proposed as part of the Student Census Evaluation Strategy (ECE) promoted by the Ministry of Education, as a response to the low indicators in mathematical and verbal reasoning of Peruvian students. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the impact of the "Minute Ten" strategy in improving the results of students in the Tacna Region. To demonstrate this, a comparison of pre- and post-implementation results of the strategy will be made to understand its impact on students in the Tacna Region, Peru.
