The design and implementation called "A program of social interaction games to stimulate the control of first-grade students’ aggressive behaviors of Sagrado Divino Maestro School, in Las Brisas, 2013" was made in response to the problems found in this school, which shows a low level of control of aggressive behaviors in order to contribute to revert this situation in favor of children. For this purpose, we worked with a population of 175 children, of which 37 formed the experimental group and 37, the control group. The stimulus was implemented to the experimental group on March 5th, 2013. The program of Social Interaction Games consisted in the implementation of 15 learning sessions concerning to the development of games to enable social skills, stillness collective games, movement collective games, assertiveness and confidence games. After having implemented the stimulus, it was evid...

Behavior-based safety programs are applied with the aim of reinforcing the level of safety at work, but if it is done by complying with a number of observations of safe behavior established in the goal of the month in the workplace, it generates in workers who only comply with safety while being observed or that observers report behaviors that they did not really see; consequently, accidents with workers continue and even worse with fatal cases, observers stop believing in the safety program they are using and management comes to believe that with a greater number of observations it is possible to correct unsafe behaviors; therefore, the results of the program are not achieved over time. This is a consequence of not having understood the principles of behavior-based security theory since the beginning of its implementation. In the present investigation, the behavior-based security theory...

The present research work is inherent to how to confront discrimination in Peru, particularly in the Cusco Region, from a regulatory proposal of the postgraduate units of two universities in Cusco. Given that even in the 21st century, manifestations of various forms of discrimination continue to be observed, such as: ethnic, linguistic, origin, social, economic, ideological, gender, among others. In this sense, the main objective of the work is to establish comparative criteria of mechanisms and use of digital citizenship to confront discrimination in the Law Master’s Program of the Andina University of Cusco and the San Antonio de Abad National University of Cusco. In Semester 2023-I, therefore, the methodology applied is a qualitative research approach with phenomenological design, assuming a population and census sample with intentionality. Finally, the comparison criteria were obta...

This study proposes a model of experiential intervention that allows High School students to self-regulate their behavior for the adequate personal development in the adolescence. The methodology of the research was mixed. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analyzed and linked to obtaining complementary information on the phenomenon under study. We used the quasi-experimental design with pre and posttest design when working with intact groups: control and experimental group. This methodology allows the treatment of the phenomenon from a holistic perspective, by detecting basic and relevant elements in different situations, studying the behaviors of students when confronted with moral situations of conflict with values, and in circumstances that show self-regulation of the behavior to determine the decision or disposition of the adolescents in a rational and autonomous way....

In the present’s paper studying a strategy for a typo of convex problem, we treat a linear programming problem whose coefficient of decision variables in the objective function has a nonlinear behavior. When the coefficients are constant the Simplex Method solves these problems without much difficulty, but when the coefficients are no longer constant and the Simplex does not work. We propose a technique that exploits the convex behavior of these coefficients and uses the theory of approximation by piecewise linear functions.

This article presents an analysis of the pro active social behavior construct based on the sociallearning theory. Self efficacy is briefly reviewed and discussed in the context of Bandura' s conceptual work. Reference is made to cognitive variables such as values and beliefs, as fundamental principies in the development of the pro active social behavior. I examine che distinctions between fears of failure, success, and rejection as they relate to the process of self sabotage. Comments are made on the transformation of meaning and its benefits on fear extinction. Finally, I briefly describe the principies of the associative neurophysiological conditioning as a therapeutic program for the management of emocional states by the individual.

Occupational accidents have become one of the most important challenges for organizations to address. It is urgent to take measures to avoid continuing losses in terms of human and economic resources. During the last decades, Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) has been considered an effective methodology aimed at determining the antecedents that lead to risky behavior. It focuses on promoting a preventive safety culture avoiding accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace. The study is aimed at the systematic review of the available literature on the key aspects for the management and implementation of BBS, as well as the findings that have been found after its application. Keywords were used in database search engines and only the most relevant in English were considered. Five common elements were found for the BBS, in addition, 99% of the studies showed a substantial improvement than...

Given the relevance of leadership in the educational environment, there is a need to identify the key elements that influence teacher well-being. Therefore, the present study addresses the impact of leader behavior, specifically initial structure and consideration, on employee experience and job satisfaction in Peruvian educational institutions. The research included a sample of 651 regular basic education teachers in Peru and used a structural equation model using PLS-SEM to evaluate the hypotheses. The following were measured: three dimensions of the employee experience: sensorial, intellectual, and emotional, using validated and reliable instruments. The results indicated that the initial structure positively impacts the three dimensions of the employee experience, while consideration significantly influences the sensorial and emotional experiences but not the intellectual ones. Likew...

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the personal attributes profiles of Peruvian part-time MBA students clustered into high- and low-level leadership behaviors. Various instruments were used to test leadership styles, five personality domains, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. Differences in the profiles based on demographic variables, leadership outcomes, and personal attributes were evaluated, and a hierarchical logistic regression analysis tested whether participants’ leadership levels were related to the seven attributes proposed. Statistically significant differences between clusters with large effect sizes were found for three personality domains (emotional stability, extraversion, and conscientiousness) and for three leadership outcomes. Small to moderate effect sizes were found for critical thinking, age, and working experience. The stud...

Previous studies carried out by Perales et al. in medical students of San Marcos University (SMU), reported global suicidal behavior’s life prevalences (L.P.) (wish to die, suicidal ideation, suicidal plan and suicidal attempt) of 30%; and specifically of suicidal attempt, 4% while in undergraduate social work students were 57.7% and 14.8% respectively. Not having data on this problem in Education and Physical Education’s undergraduate students in Peru the present study is addressed to estimate the life-prevalences of these behaviors in this student population. OBJECTIVE: To identify students of SMU’ Education and Physical Education Schools who had presented suicidal behavior and to estimatethe life prevalence (L.P.) and its associated variables in this population. METHODOLOGY: Analytic, transversal study in the students registered in 2011 in those two Schools. Previously validated...
