Pollutants inside at houses are smoking, gas combustion, use of solvents, household cleaning chemicals, emissions from building materials, and contamination of the exterior aggravates the inside of the house. In this article, we conducted a study to select the best air purifier equipment for an urban house. The selection was carried out by applying the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology. In this study, three alternatives were proposed for the evaluation of the air purifier equipment: Bap1700, Bap600 and Bap706; which were ranked according to the criteria: scope, characteristics, and model. To carry out the selection using AHP, a panel of four experts were selected for this study. In this paper, we determined that the best air purifier equipment was the A1 alternative: Air Purifier Bap1700.

Meteorological observations play a major role in land management; thus, it is vital to properly plan the monitoring network of weather stations (WS). This study, therefore, selected ‘highly suitable’ sites with the objective of replanning the WS network in Amazonas, NW Peru. A set of 11 selection criteria for WS sites were identified and mapped in a Geographic Information System, as well as their importance weights were determined using Analytic Hierarchy Process and experts. A map of the suitability of the territory for WS sites was constructed by weighted superimposition of the criteria maps. On this map, the suitability status of the 20 existing WS sites was then assessed and, if necessary, relocated.   In current supply chains, the use of AIDC technologies allows the information that flows to be standardized and reliable, as well as obtaining a series of advantages related to saving time and costs. In Cuba, the use of these technologies is not regulated by national laws and most companies do not use them, considering ignorance of their effectiveness as the cause. This article analyzes AIDC technologies: specifically, bar code systems and radio frequency systems, their operation and benefits of their use in supply chains. Based on the existing need, a tool was designed based on a procedure that establishes a guide for the selection of technologies to be implemented in logistics processes. The tool designed is used for Case Studies to know its application and mode of use.

For the Simplified Tender selection process, in case of a tie, it is proposed to choose the bidder by means of an electronic lottery based on a controlled randomization system of encryption and transformation. Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) is one of the main grains of a domesticated species native to the high Andean plains and valleys. Because its harvests do not always have a homogeneous color, some companies have been using sorting machines for quinoa that are adapted from other cereals, whose operation does not guarantee the desired efficiency. The purpose of the study was to design and build a prototype machine that classifies quinoa grains according to the desired color. The main parts of the machine include the design of the mechanical structure comprising three zones: feeding, transport and processing and storage. The potato crop in Peru is the main income and food source for the smallholder of the highland grower of the Peruvian Andes. For urban population, it represents one of the main components of the food basket and for commercial intermediaries. It is the main brokerage product considering its volume and value.
