Este trabajo de investigación presenta las curvas características del comportamiento hidráulico de una motobomba con motor de combustión interna (MCI) por ignición, funcionando a 3810 metros sobre el nivel del mar (m.s.n.m), operando con gasolina corriente de 84 octanos, gasolina de 90 octanos y gasolina de 97 octanos. Se determina la influencia de la variación de los parámetros hidráulicos de la bomba centrífuga, la que hará la función del sistema de absorción de potencia, y se aprecia que las condiciones de altitud influyen en el trabajo de la motobomba con el uso de diferentes números de octano de las gasolinas, para ello se ha diseñado y construido un banco de pruebas, dotado de instrumentos de medición de alta precisión.

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) is one of the main grains of a domesticated species native to the high Andean plains and valleys. Because its harvests do not always have a homogeneous color, some companies have been using sorting machines for quinoa that are adapted from other cereals, whose operation does not guarantee the desired efficiency. The purpose of the study was to design and build a prototype machine that classifies quinoa grains according to the desired color. The main parts of the machine include the design of the mechanical structure comprising three zones: feeding, transport and processing and storage.
