This study proposes the simulation of a system for reducing polluting gases produced by a steel foundry by two-stage centrifugation. This simulation seeks to verify the physical principle of centrifugation in two cyclones (Stairmand and Swift types) in serial connection: one with its inlet at the outlet of the other, based on initial gas inlet conditions, as well as the design equations of this equipment. Likewise, it's intended to demonstrate the efficiency of this system by entering the mass composition of the gas, in particulate matter (PM) terms, measuring its new composition at the output, after simulating the gas and particle dynamics. The present study addresses aspects that must be considered in the sizing of the equipment for material loading and haulage (ore and waste) in an open-pit mine in the Central-West Region of Brazil. This is a complex process because a significant number of variables that limit the activities intrinsic to the loading and hauling operations are involved in the analysis. Such variables are: production rates per unit of time, physical-mechanical characteristics of the material, hauling distances, topography, access design, hauling routes, cycles, and fleet performance (truck, shovel). Additionally, there are other external variables that also condition a normal operation, such as rain, snow, fog and seismic movement. The purpose of this study is to size the fleet of the loading and hauling equipment that fulfills the processing plant requirements in an efficient manner.

Currently, textile processing plants need to control the conditions associated with the spinning process, being the air conditioning of working environments an important factor in the quality and productivity of these processes. The benefits obtained from the optimization of this air conditioning help to guide a lower energy consumption, helping to improve the positioning of the products and providing profitability in the operation processes. The goal is to create a CNC system that optimizes production processes without the need for expensive equipment. The following work focuses on the kinematic and dynamic study of a four-wheeled robot, which is equipped with omnidirectional Mecanum wheels. The main objective of the thesis is to obtain a mathematical model from which both the kinematics and kinetics of the robot can be analyzed. Furthermore, the study presents a methodology to optimize the torques (and subsequent associated voltages) provided by each of the motors on the robot for a given trajectory.
