Using large panel data models that deal with the problems of potential endogeneity and cross-sectional dependence, while also allowing for cross-country heterogeneity in the parameters of interest, we demonstrated that trade openness produces a depreciation of the real effective exchange rate and total factor productivity leads to its appreciation.

The purpose of this research paper it is to present a new approach in the framework of a biased roulette wheel. It is used the approach of a quantitative trading strategy, commonly used in quantitative nance, in order to assess the pro tability of the strategy in the short term. The tools of backtesting and walk-forward optimization were used to achieve such task. The data has been generated from a real European roulette wheel from an on-line casino based in Riga, Latvia. It has been recorded 10,980 spins1 and sent to the computer through a voice-to-text software for further numerical analysis in R. It has been observed that the probabilities of occurrence of the numbers at the roulette wheel follows an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process. Moreover, it is shown that a at betting system against Kelly Criterion was more pro table in the short term.

The main objective of this explicative research was to determine the effect of trade opening and direct foreign investment on Peruvian economic growth, 2007-2016. This research was developed inside one non-experimental and longitudinal design; The sample was constituted by data related to study variables during the period 2007-2016 and collected from reports prepared by BCRP, INEI and Proinversion; furthermore, it was used a convenience sampling; the validity of regression models was realized through analysis of variance. This research concluded that, in peruvian case, only trade opening affected significatly on growth rate of real GDP per capita during the period 2007-2016 explaining more than fifty percent of its variation. This research paper seeks to determine the effect of the real multilateral exchange rate on Peru's Exports and Imports in the period 1991 - 2019. The data used to perform the corresponding analysis are real monthly under the Unit Root Test (Dickey Fuller) and Johansen Cointegration Test in order to identify the existence of cointegration between the variables. The results indicate that the effect of the real multilateral exchange rate on exports was 1.00 and show a negative effect compared to imports that was -1.11. Finally, among the mechanisms that can be suggested is maintaining stable macroeconomic policies and seeking to diversify Peru's foreign trade with other countries to increase exports of national goods.

The present research work was carried out with the objective of determining the main variables that explain the behavior of the Real Exchange Rate (RER) in Peru and the magnitude of its influence of these variables, during the years of 2002 to 2016. In this research, quarterly data from the RER, productivity, terms of trade, government spending, capital flows and commercial openness were used; obtained from the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, National Institute of Statistics and Informatics and the International Monetary Fund. The use of manual methods to forecast demand in perishable food companies is generally subject to the variability of internal and external factors in the company, causing excess inventories and significant monetary losses, so it is relevant to carry out this research with the objective of to demonstrate that by implementing Machine Learning it is possible to improve the accuracy of the demand forecast. A case study in a company in the poultry sector in Peru, forecasting the last quarter of 2022, based on a real sales database and applying the time series method, comparing the results of the Machine Learning model, and obtaining as a result in a model with high Forecast Accuracy (FA) of 97.56% and a high Forecast Bias (FB) of 2.44%. In order to achieve this goal, we made use of the Television Show Dr. House. We selected different fragments of three episodes and, even though the cases shown by the program are not real they keep similarities with real life cases and, in this sense, are susceptible to be analyzed. We based our analysis in the agambenian notion of “dispositive” to understand the extension of medical power nowadays. A doctor, to exercise his trade, converts the living into codes, index and concepts. The purpose of this work is to devise a launch campaign for the Danish brand Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Peru. It is intended to position the brand as a retail that stands out for its variety of products, unique design, affordable price and environmental responsibility, attributes sought by the target audience, people between 27 and 45 years of socioeconomic level B and C who care about their well-being, always taking care of its economy and the environment. Throughout the report, an analysis of the economic and social situation of the country was carried out, as well as of the retail sector in order to build a solid proposal based on real data. The launch campaign will be presented, containing the communication strategy both online and offline, focused on the consumer and governed by a budget established according to the objectives.

El presente estudio tiene el propósito de demostrar cuáles son los factores que determinan las agroexportaciones de la Región La Libertad, cómo estos se interrelacionan y hallar el grado de relación entre estas variables. La evolución de las agroexportación en la Región La Libertad, ha sido muy significativa siendo así que en el 2005 estas fueron de 598 millones de US$ FOB y al término de nuestro estudio en el 2015 llegaron a 3 452 millones, con un crecimiento acumulado del 478 por ciento y un crecimiento anual del 19 por ciento.
