The plant layout problem can be generalized as a case intensively studied combinatorial optimization and therefore its nature is a NP- hard. This research analyzes the distribution of a poultry plant, with defined processes and established areas. However, it has been proven that the poultry production process can optimize its processes by redistribu ting it, applying the SLP (Systematic Layout Plan- ning) methodology. In addition, the purpose is to take the process to a second level of improvement with process automation. Initially, the plant plans were analyzing in detail, these allowed us to visualize which areas should be improved. Then, the DAP (Process Activity Diagram) was analyzed, where the activities are identified for the plant process. This is conducted according to the analysis and selection of data and results based on quality statistical analysis, which guarantees the effectiveness percentage in knowledge construction. The purpose of this research was to determine administrators’ views on their awareness of educational planning, purpose, benefits and problems they encounter with it. It was also aimed to find out if the administrators received education and training in educational planning. The research employed a qualitative phenomenological research design. The participants were 15 administrators who were determined with a maximum diversity method. The data were gathered with semi-structured interview technique and analyzed with descriptive analysis approach. Results revealed that most administrators received in-service training or education in educational planning, underlined numerous benefits, and they are aware of the importance of it. In highly seismic regions, many buildings lack modern energy dissipation mechanisms, increasing their vulnerability. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the distribution of seismic energy across the different levels of prototype structures with 3, 6, and 9 stories, retrofitted with CRP-type hysteretic dampers, using the energy balance method. The capacity curves of each structure were initially determined using nonlinear pushover analysis; subsequently, the retrofitted models were evaluated with two types of nonlinear dynamic analyses. The first, using three ground motions scaled to the design level, showed a significant reduction in distortions after retrofitting. The emergence of Machine Learning (ML) technologies and their integration into agriculture has demonstrated a significant impact on disease detection in crops, enabling continuous monitoring and enhancing risk planning and management. This study applied image processing techniques such as thresholding, gamma correction, and the Stretched Neighborhood Effect Color to Grayscale (SNECG) method, alongside ML, to develop a predictive model for identifying five types of rice diseases. The ML techniques used included Logistic Regression, Multilayer Perceptron, Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, and Random Forests (RF). Processes in this industry are not value-additive, although the industry does present opportunities for improvement, such as reducing overtime, which occurs more than 30% of the time; reducing production rescheduling, which reaches 40%; and improving level of customer service for state institutions, who represent 70% of purchase orders. These situations need to be improved within the company; and as a result, a sales and operations model that includes direct labor planning is designed. This model should enable a reduction of overtime and calculation of the amount of direct labor taking into account efficiency level. In practice, this is the expected outcome; it is achieved via the decisions made by the operations executive.

This article presents the implementation of ISO/IEC 29110 in a four-person IT startup company in Peru. After completing the implementation of the ISO/IEC 29110 project management and software implementation processes using an agile approach, the next step was to execute these processes in a project with an actual customer: software that facilitates communication between clients and legal consultants at the second-largest insurance companies in Peru. Managing the project and developing the software took about 900 hours.
