The metabolic syndrome (MS) is a cluster of metabolic abnormalities considered risk factors for developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes. MS components are defined according to different guidelines and consensus. The study was pre experimental with pre and post test design. The sample was 44 workers determined by inclusion and exclusion criteria. Teaching design patterns has proved to be a complicated topic in software engineering courses. Practitioners require mastering this technique in order to develop higher-quality programs. As part of the experiment, we used pair programming practice to solve this problem in an undergraduate classroom activity, aiming that finding the best pair configuration based on previous programming skills and character affinity, would lead us to better results. The experiment was divided into five rounds, increasing the complexity every each exercise. Afterward, we compared the score obtained by the students in the mid-term exam with last semester scores, resulting in an improvement of 0.37 points with the previous semester, which was 12.3% of the highest score (3 points).

The objective was to determine the level of effectiveness of the educational program about the prevention of acute diarrhea to improve knowledge and practices in mothers of Clas Pillcomarca, January to May 2011. This is a quantitative study, and according to the data analysis is quasiexperimental of one group with one pretest and two posttests. The sample was 25 mothers. We used a questionnaire that applied sociodemographic characteristics of mothers and measured the cognitive level about acute diarrhea: definition, risk factors and preventive measures, before and after the program; also an observation guide was applied to evaluate the preventive measures that mothers use before and after the educational program. Endoscopy is a competitive field in clinical practice, in which skilled endoscopists are in high demand. The learning process for Junior Gastrointestinal Endoscopists (JGEs) is difficult, quite long, and technically demanding. This directs JGEs to seek additive learning sources, including online sources. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency, context, attitudes, perceived benefits, drawbacks, and recommendations for using YouTube videos as an educational platform among JGEs from the uses'prespective. We disseminated a cross-sectional online questionnaire from January 15th to March 17th, 2022, and recruited 166 JGE from 39 different countries. The Cultural Diversity courses on Programn of Psychology should raise students’ awareness towards Others who tend to provoke negative emotions because of being different. The university courses and professional practices seem to respond to a particular culture while pretending to be universal in their postures. A qualitative study was conducted in which syllabuses of cultural diversity courses corresponding to different academic institutions from Puerto Rico, Europe and Latin America were examined. The content analysis revealed that the approach to the subject typically corresponds to the country’s idiosyncrasy, psychosocial circumstances and particular regulations as well as the intervention of organizations and accrediting  agencies. It is discussed the inherent diversity to the psychology, even in their teaching as in its application.
