This paper initially describes aspects of the modeling of structures equipped with energy dissipators Shear Link Bozzo (SLB) and develops two iterative design procedures to select these devices. This methodology is applied to a precast 5-story reinforced concrete building. The SLB energy dissipation devices are initially stiff, but ductile with a range of yielding forces from 36 kN to 900 kN characterized by 52 + 52 standard devices. Moreover, these devices can be combined in parallel giving a very wide range of possibilities for selection and corresponding structural response. Therefore, to simplify its automatic selection, this article presents two procedures: (1) direct iteration and (2) inverse or fixed force iteration. Introduction: Overweight negatively impacts the cardiovascular system and osteomyoarticular, promoting pain in the joints of the lower limbs. Therefore, strategies have been applied to reduce overweight through lifestyle changes. Objective: to investigate the effects of two multidisciplinary intervention programs on the health-related physical fitness of obese women with pain symptoms in the knees. Methods: Women between 40 and 59 years of age with obesity (n=59) were evaluated in the pre- and post-intervention time regarding anthropometry, body composition, physical fitness, level of disability in the knee and hip, and health-related quality of life. This paper studies the criminal liability of legal persons, which has suffered a deep reform with the organic law 1/2015, after being introduced in Spain in 2010. This reform has brought important modifications and news, as the creation of an exemption of liability through the adoption of compliance programs, which supposes a change in the so called model of transfer of liability, that existed before. Parallel to this transformation in the Spanish criminal code, in Peru recently the law 30424 has come into forth, which contents a corporate liability model, very similar to the one foreseen in Spain. Both models of liability and the possibility of its exemption raise doubts about if they really tried to penalize legal persons or not.

Precise crown segmentation is essential for assessing structure, competition, and productivity in agroforestry systems, but delineation is challenging due to canopy heterogeneity and variability in aerial imagery. This study analyzes how flight height and orientation affect segmentation accuracy in an agroforestry system of the Peruvian Amazon, using RGB images acquired with a DJI Mavic Mini 3 Pro UAV and the instance-segmentation models YOLOv8 and YOLOv11. Four flight heights (40, 50, 60, and 70 m) and two orientations (parallel and transversal) were analyzed in an agroforestry system composed of Cedrelinga cateniformis (Ducke) Ducke, Calycophyllum spruceanum (Benth.) This paper present a model of software engineering to estimate the social distancing with realistic inputs. This might be incorporated in a smart-phone application in order to get an exact estimate of the values of social distancing in times of global pandemic. Attention is paid on the measurement of outdoor scenarios where wind velocity would play an important role to move the aerosols at distances beyond the known social distances. Thus, the dehydration time emerges also as a predictor of risk to get the infection of virus. The proposed software has capabilities to yield numeric values of risk in terms of probabilities. It is expected that once the associated computational program is running then the permanent assessment of potential scenarios would give concrete values of social distancing. In this manner one expects that these values are uploaded at an Internet network.
