Nowadays, some of the most popular tools for parallel programming are Message Passing Interface and Open Multi-Processing. It is of interest to compare these tools in solving the same kind of problems, because of the use of different approaches to inter-task communication. This work attempts to contribute to this goal by running trials in a centralized shared memory architecture in the case of problems with an entirely parallel solution. The selected case study was the parallel computation of Mandelbrot set. Trials were conducted for different iteration limits, processors amount, and C++ implementation variants. The results show better performance in the case of Open Multi-Processing.

Por ello, se propone la solución de negocio Aquí Es, que generará un impacto económico positivo, una mejora en la salud mental y contribuirá con el medioambiente. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es dar a conocer que las matrices y los sistemas de ecuaciones lineales es un campo de estudio del Álgebra Lineal, curso que se imparte en la universidad a todos aquellos que estudian educación matemática, ciencias e ingeniería. Lo que originó el estudio de las matrices fue encontrar la solución a un sistema de ecuaciones lineales que, a su vez, dio como consecuencia al planteo en su forma matricial, esto motivó al estudio de las propiedades de las matrices. El presente trabajo desarrolla un modelo de optimización para el proceso de reabastecimiento en un centro de distribución perteneciente a un operador logístico del sector consumo masivo. La empresa presentaba demoras recurrentes en la entrega de pedidos, ocasionadas principalmente por un reabastecimiento reactivo, la dispersión de productos de alta rotación y la falta de criterios definidos para la asignación de ubicaciones en el primer nivel. Estas deficiencias generaban picking en altura, recorridos excesivos, interrupciones constantes durante el proceso y riesgo de incumplimiento de los acuerdos de nivel de servicio establecidos con el cliente.
