The selection of the best students in the admission process is a complex and delicate task. In this paper, a new weighting is proposed to obtain the general admission score, using the multivariate technique of "Factor Analysis". The results found reveal three important components: Scientific Support, with 56%, General Culture, with 29% and Skills and Skills with 15%. This weighting preserves a high concordance with the traditional form, since there is a modification in the orders of merit of only 12% of the cases.

La ciudad de Lima está ubicada en una zona altamente sísmica categorizada según la (NTE E.030-Diseño Sismorresitente, 2018) como Z4 por ubicarse entre las placas Nazca y Sudamericana. This case study presents the behavior of the resources directly collected for technological services, defined as the sum of the RdR for research and development services (1.3.39.23) and third-party services (1.3.39.29), at the National University of Engineering during the period 2009 to 2023. Under a technological extensionism approach, the revenues collected and their management by the UNI can be considered as indicators of how the university is fulfilling its role as a provider of knowledge in the economy. The data obtained show a downward trend, especially in third-party services, while R&D services remain stable on average over the years but have not yet recovered pre-COVID-19 revenue levels. La presente investigación consiste en la determinación de eficiencias de dos filtros lentos usando antracita y zeolita como medios filtrantes, los cuales tienen ciertas propiedades para la purificación de aguas residuales, utilizando el efluente del reactor UASB del Centro de Investigación y Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales y Residuos Peligrosos de la Facultad de Ingeniería Ambiental de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (CITRAR-FIA-UNI). Para esto fue necesario realizar la caracterización de los materiales granulares antes de realizar todo el proceso. En el análisis granulométrico de la antracita y zeolita, se encontró diversos tamaños entre 5 mm y 0.10 mm. La minería en Perú es una actividad económica central, pero ha resultado en numerosos pasivos ambientales, aproximadamente 6903, algunos aún sin registrarse por la Dirección General de Minería. Estos pasivos representan un riesgo constante para la salud humana y el medio ambiente. Actualmente, se emplean técnicas sostenibles que involucran el uso de biomasas para eliminar metales y corregir la acidez del suelo. This study aims to evaluate the future of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Peru, using the Gompertz nonlinear regression model. The data were obtained from official reports of the Peru Ministry of Health (MINSA). The accumulated value of fatal cases was subjected to iterative analysis by the non-linear least-squares method to achieve a model. Given the first-order derivative of the predictive model was obtained the daily fatal cases curve. Using the fatality rate as the proportion between infected and fatal cases, both of them would also provide days average lag to estimate the epidemic curve. For the moment, the predictive model suggests that Peru would be in a slow descent in the epidemic curve, moving away from the peak of contagions per day. Lima is a city where the area of archaeological sites exceeds the green and public areas, this represents an enormous challenge to preserve and reclaim our monuments, so it’s necessary to evaluate the theory with which we face this challenge; This Research reviews conceptual presents a literatura review based in different contributions on the pre-Hispanic territorial model and its evolution over time, it also seeks to contrast the approaches of value enhancement and social use to assess its relevance to the contemporary context of archaeological sites in Lima, its relevance for the city and their value enhancement process, and finally, it analyzes the case of urban dynamics in Garagay to understand its relevance in the urban environment and related concepts of enhancement.

Heritage properties gain relevance every day due to the history and culture they treasure. Currently, a large part of the built heritage presents serious problems of deterioration, mainly in housing. The objective of this research is to identify the main deficiencies that exist in the legal regulation for the conservation of heritage homes in Cuban administrative legislation. The study is based on the analysis and synthesis method and qualitative technical (interviews, surveys and scientific observation). In the last decades, numerous footbridges experienced excessive displacements in the lateral direction of passage, cases such as Millennium, Solferino and Toda among the most known, which caused that the pedestrian have difficulties in using these structures and often requiring expensive repairs. This research studies the problem of the lateral vibrations produced by the pedestrian crossing in footbridges known as the phenomenon of synchronous lateral excitation through the lateral vibration analysis of the walkway adjacent to the “Rayitos de Sol” footbridge, which crosses the Rímac river, near the center of Lima. The present article is about a program, witch is a powerful tool to help persons who need to make calculations of costs and to determine the size of many equipment and the quantities of pertinent materials for a project fulfillment of water pump with fotovoltaic energy. This program is easy to operate, and it shows a menu with entrance of data. Presentation of results, print of results, quit (Fig. 2). This program is based on the case of Taquile’s island-Puno (pump of 24 m3/day and 200 m of total height) in order to determinate the size of fotovoltaic pump project, demonstrating the utility of the program.
