The Renewable Energy Center from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (CER-UNI) develops and promotes research in the field of non conventional and renewable energy resources technologies (ER&NC). Food cooking with solar energy and solar cookers has been going on for 30 years now. And in the last years we have seen an unusual interest in the matter in many countries in the world including Perú. This is the reason why solar cooking models of many characteristics have been promoted. The solar cooker that is part of this work is called Solar Steam Cooker (CVS) because of the physical phenomenon produced that generates cooking. In fact, by a Compound Parabolic Concentrator (solar collector), the steam generated goes to a cooking container through pipers, here, the steam surrounds it completely transferring the heat to the food that is in it. The present article is about a program, witch is a powerful tool to help persons who need to make calculations of costs and to determine the size of many equipment and the quantities of pertinent materials for a project fulfillment of water pump with fotovoltaic energy. This program is easy to operate, and it shows a Menu with Entrance of data. Presentation of results, Print of results, Quit (Fig. 2). This program is based on the case of Taquile’s Island-Puno (pump of 24 m3/day and 200 m of total height) in order to determinate the size of fotovoltaic pump project, demonstrating the utility of the program.

A propósito de dos proyectos de electrificación rural con energía eléctrica de origen fotovoltaico desarrollados por el CER-UNI para la DEP-MEM entre octubre de 1999 y julio del 2000 que significaron en lo sustantivo la instalación de 123 y 658 Sistemas Fotovoltaicos Domiciliarios (SFD) en más de 40 comunidades extremas del Perú, mayormente de selva, surgió la necesidad de calcular el costo del servicio eléctrico derivado de la instalación de estos 781 SFD y el modelo de gestión asociado, denominado "Cesión en uso", para un horizonte de vida del proyecto de 20 años. Tarea que fue cumplida dentro del marco contractual que respaldó la ejecución referida. El presente trabajo refiere a un programa elaborado como herramienta de ayuda para quienes necesitan realizar un cálculo de costos y determinar el tamaño de los distintos equipos y cantidades de materiales pertinentes a un provecto de bombeo de agua con energía fotovoltaica. El programa es de fácil manejo, presentando un Menú con Ingreso de Datos. Presentación de Resultados, Impresión de Resultados, Salir (Fig. 2). Se presenta, a su vez la aplicación al caso de la Isla de Taquile – Puno (bombeo de 24m3/día y 200 m de altura total) para determinar el tamaño y costo de un proyecto de bombeo fotovoltaico demostrando la utilidad del programa.

The amount of dust deposited on the surface of a panel depends on the environmental parameters. These are random (eg. humidity, wind speed and ambient temperature) which makes it difficult to model them theoretically. This paper describes the effect of dust by calculating the derating factor (η_polvo) and modeling its dependence over time. To achieve this, an experimental campaign was carried out in three tandem (a-Si / µc-Si) of 1.15 kW controlled in the city of Lima, divided into two periods of time. In the first period, from 07.15.2016 to 04.07.2017, the three strings were cleaned twice per week. The nominal power was calculated for days with clear skies conditions. It was found that between each string there are slight differences or mismatches in the nominal power, which is considered to estimate a correction factor (k) in order to readjust the output power.
