People with disabilities are a vulnerable and excluded population from their rights such as admission, permanence and graduation from higher education, especially from in Latin American dental schools. The objective of this review is to review the literature on educational inclusion in Latin American dental schools. A review of the national and Latin American literature was carried out on the concepts of disability, inclusive education and undergraduate dentistry using primary and secondary sources; among which, books, thesis and Medline, SciELO, Pubmed, Lilacs, Dialnet and Redalyc databases were consulted. It was concluded that dental schools are in default and in debt to people with (dis) ability in Latin America due to the dynamics of higher education that continue to perpetuate the exclusion or discrimination of people with disabilities in undergraduate dentistry.

The intertwined global health and economic crisis which Covid-19 has generated shows the centrality of the role of the State in confronting both events as well as its vitalimportance in the performance of international organizations dealing with such problem. Multilateralism still depends on the State’s performance and not the other way around yet. The global crisis has also shown the need to reform the great majority of international regimes involved in it with the purpose of strengthening and enlarging their specificfunctions without risking such regimes with integral changes. Besides, the global nature of the pandemic has underlined the importance of geography in the efforts of tracing it. Such event implies the need of redefining the concept of globalization which underscores the delinkage of global processes from its territorial bases.

The present article is an international review or state of the art that analyzed more than seventy texts of studies and interventions of information and communication technologies for development and social change with the objective of identifying tendencies, in particular those that had the specific purpose of youth development. In the results of this systematization stands out the discussions around the concept of development, the predominance of works in marginalized communities, and the need to orient this field towards situated users and problems, as is the case of young people, a topic that has been less attended.

The measurement of efforts made by people engaged in software development has been hardly done in software engineering. The SEI proposes a set of practices for time management and personal productivity improvement of programmers or software engineers for software development and maintenance tasks, by monitoring and comparing the planned performance versus actual performance, which Watts Humphrey in the 90s named the Personal Software Process (PSP). The research that were reviewed show that, at a global level, the skills of engineers who join the software industry do not satisfy software industry expectations, and how PSP contributes to skills enhancement.

In contrast to classical international law, which limited itself to the maintenance of international peace and security as its fundamental object, contemporary international law emphasises that the achievement of this object implies economic growth. Thus, the Principle of Sovereign Equality of States is limited to its meaning of legal equality, while existing economic and social inequality is recognised, and rules are established in favour of the special category of ‘developing countries’. In addition to the Principle of the Prohibition of the Use of Force or Threat of Force, the Principle of Cooperation is added, which obliges states to cooperate with each other to achieve economic growth, particularly in developing countries. The author proposes a study of the validity of the Principle of Cooperation in the international monetary sphere. To this end, he studies three aspects of the...

Based on an analysis between the notions of democracy and the constitutional state, this study addresses the complex relationships between the fundamental right to freedom of education and terrorism. It is an axis of all public policy to combat terrorism within the framework of the rule of law and in that purpose, the State implements state restrictions on non-readmission for teachers sentenced for terrorism. However, it is necessary to elucidate these questions as to whether they are expressions of a culture of suspicion, or whether in their case they are measures for a legitimate defense of the same State.

Significant institutional changes have taken place during the government of Alberto Fujimori. What is the meaning of these changes? Do they reflect Alberto Fujimori's strategy of power consolidation? Are they the result of the strategy of dominant economic classes to continue exploiting Peru's resources? Or are these institutions reflecting a process of democratization of the state? This article explores these questions by examining state institutions in the area of public services. The argument is briefly the following: although still incomplete, the regulatory state in public services means democratic progress compared to the previous form of state intervention based on public owned companies.

Development planning must propose economic dynamism with institutional development, social equity with human capital formation, and international competitiveness based on technical progress. The principle that must be followed is "as much of the market as possible and as much of the State as necessary", so that sometimes State intervention is essential for competitive performance in the market.

The objective of this article is to analyze why non-binding measures taken by States may be challenged to determine non-compliance with the provisions of international trade agreements. This research reviewed the decisions of the dispute settlement bodies of three trade agreements: the Andean Community, the World Trade Organization and the European Union. It is argued that in the field of international trade, the content, characteristics and role of non-binding measures are assessed to analyze their incompatibility with international standards and determine non-compliance of States.

Low performance in Mathematics I at the Amazonian State University (UEA) highlighted the need to implement technological solutions to optimize learning. The study aimed to evaluate the impact of educational software on the academic performance of first-semester students. Using a quasi-experimental design, a total of 121 participants were divided into an experimental group (EG) with 29 students and a control group (CG) with 31 students, which were used without modifications. Participants were assessed through questionnaires and written tests, alongside an initial interview with the program director. The analysis methods included Fisher-Snedecor and t-Student tests to compare the groups. The results showed that both groups had homogeneous levels in the initial Pretest (mean scores of 7.4140 and 7.0323, respectively), ensuring equitable conditions before the intervention. At the end of the ...

This article begins with a study of two judicial disputes related to land ownership, which were led by peasants from the Huanta highlands, in the Ayacucho region in Peru. Based on the hermeneutic analysis of the judicial records of the disputes, it argues that these peasants intervened in the lawsuits stimulated by their experience from the independence war and the caudillista conflicts of the 19th century, developing a moral argument that served as a combat weapon to thwart the opponent in the courts and achieve the claim. In this way, they participated in the process of the formation of the republican State, prolonging the violence of war to earlyrepublican law and justice.

Based on the review of the judicial reasoning on the “Diarios Chicha” case, both in the conviction and in the acquittal of former president Alberto Fujimori, the relevance of the context of the State of exception is analyzed, in which they were developed facts of an authoritarian state. It is postulated that the lack of an analysis and assessment of the context of discovery and of the conceptual elements on the State of exception, facilitated the acquittal of the former president of the use of public treasury money for the purchase of editorial lines of the written press in his eagerness for a second reelection.
