In the drying process of activated clay there are two important methods that can be used to dry this activated clay: Rotator continuous drying and drying atomization. But to determine the characteristics and mechanism which intervene in the drying of clay is fundamental to use a batch tray drying. The objective of the present work is obtain the curve of drying velocity, fixing sorne initial conditions of humidity, and to define the mechanisms involved in the drying of activated clay with sulphuric acid. Further, this information will be used to scale to continuous drying and find out the equations which govern this process. It was necessary to use a tray of 214 cm2 surface area to charge moist bentonite. This work presents the Improvement Study to switch the energy source of a factory producing lime oil and dried lime peel in Northern Peru. The design of the LPG system considered the technical characteristics and requirements for the consumption equipment and its distance towards the storage area in accordance with Peruvian Technical Standards NTP 321.123 and NTP 321.121 (NTP, for its Spanish acronym), and other international standards including NFPA 58, CE and ASME. Fishmeal concentrates a high percentage of protein and its monetary cost is relatively high, searching for possible alternatives in macroalgae for improvement purposes is an option. Color is a fundamental characteristic of food, however, drying by the Infrared method as an emerging technology for the study of the macroalga Lessonia trabeculata is little studied. For this reason, the degradation and change of color in the drying process by infrared rays (IR) at different temperatures 40°C, 55°C and 70°C were objectively characterized with the color space scale (CIE-L*a *b*), through the use of a spectrophotometer. Drying was carried out with infrared rays in an infrared radiant heating chamber with a power of 4.5kW, 20.5 Amps. In the present investigation, the drying kinetics of Bixa orellana L (achiote) were evaluated using two mathematical models, the B.E.T model (Brunauer, Emmet and Teller) and the G.A.B model (Guggenheim, Anderson and De Boer) in a dryer. of trays by forced convection at temperatures of 50 °C, 60 °C and 70 °C, maintaining constant the thickness of the bed to be dried, which is 5 mm and the air speed, which is 5 m/s. En el proceso de secado de la arcilla activada, existen dos métodos importantes que se pueden usar para secar arcillas activadas: Secador Rotatorio Continuo [1] y Secador por Atomización (6). Pero para determinar las características y mecanismos que intervienen en el secado de la arcilla es fundamental utilizar un secador de bandeja por lote. Introduction: The appearance of diabetic foot is common but preventable. Self-care is a strategy to achieve this. Objective: To know the foot self-care practices reported by people with type 2 diabetes mellitus from a qualitative approach. Methods: Qualitative descriptive study. 12 people participated, selected by thematic saturation and redundancy and convenience sampling. Data collection was carried out between April and May 2023, through a semi-structured interview. Data processing was through thematic content analysis. Results: No glycosylated hemoglobin was found in the medical records and the center does not have a diabetic foot unit.
