The almost fifty-four years that separate the harangue from Haya de la Torre in the Plaza de Acho from the meeting with which Alan García closes his campaign on the Paseo de la República - prolonged by successive presidential "balconazos" - would illustrate with ease how certain features of the Subaltern cultures endure in spite of the obvious and important differences of characterization that throughout this long period we find in Peruvian society. However, that smell of crowds is inseparable from the way in which the masses construct the real through the means of communication; the field of view of political science should be extended to the study of mass culture to grasp the permanent and the changing in a broader dimension. In this essay a theoretical reflection on the subject is outlined.

This qualitative research analyzes Decree Inter Mirifica (1963), which states the responsibility of Mass Media and its relation to Culture, Science, Multiculturalism, as well as the technologies of the information, Internet, Digital Journalism and historicalecological Communication Perspective, concluding that Inter Mirifica expresses the essence of Media: its use requires righteousness, prudence and wisdom.

This article deals with works of art that were used in Andean churches to encourage the Christian cult of the dead during the colonial period. We argue that these works played an important role in the establishment of the cult as a replacement for the Andean cult of the dead. We also show how these works changed over the course of the colonial period, from presenting symbolic images to representing narrative scenes. One important type of work was the altar frontal, which served as a backdrop to the mass and therefore was an appropriate place for expressing concepts of Christian doctrine regarding the dead, such as the idea of purgatory and the dogma of salvation.

The following study uses the critical discourse analysis by Norman Fairclough as a method to analyze the representation of Evangelina Chamorro, who survived a mudslide in Peru in 2017. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the mass media represents an ordinary heroine in Peru by analyzing articles from the two national newspapers: Trome and La República. This analysis is performed by drawing a sample of six articles —three from Trome and three from La República—, which have been collected between the 16th of March 2017 and the 13th of May 2017.The theoretical framework of the study is ordinary heroism and the representation of women in the mass media. In the present study we delve into the importance of physical activity in the school context since it favors the improvement of health. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and the Body Mass Index in students aged 10 to 13 years of the National College of Application of the National University Hermilio Valdizán. The study was descriptive with a causal correlational design, the sample included 121 students, the data collected was through a questionnaire and BMI form. The mass arrival of Venezuelan immigrants escaping the macroeconomic catastrophe caused by the Maduro government is a unique event in Peru’s recent economic history. This text uses a Keynesian model, where employment depends on aggregate demand, in an attempt to identify the two channels through which mass immigration reduces, in the short term, employment and real wages. The understanding of democracy as a political organization form, has in many scenarios the debate on how pure is in a representative form and how effective is when is “pure” or direct democracy, as well as thought for the “polis” or places with an specific geographic location, contrary to the Saskia Sassen concept of “global cities”. From this discussion, we can address the television as a twentieth century mass media, funded and operated by governments or private companies, exercising symbolic power in a nation, as seen by the John B. Thompson power forms in modern societies, and as an organizational form that clearly exemplifies a representative democracy from the choice of themes, characters, speech and even workflow technology.

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of physical activity, body mass index (BMI) and lifestyle on students of the UNMSM Professional School of Physical Education, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The population, 570 students; random sample by saturation 230, as an instrument the questionnaire of lifestyle habits, physical activity and quality of life, for the BMI data sheet, the study was developed in a quantitative approach, type applied causal descriptive design, transactional. To demonstrate the impact, the linear regression coefficient was used, concluding that there is no impact on the quality of life of BMI or physical activity, but there is an impact of healthy living on quality of life, with a predictability of 38.9. %.

Over the last fifty years, indigenous leadership has undergone a series of important transformations. This trajectory has been dominated by a process of merging and reworking different models of leadership fromlocal, national and global contexts. In all of this, the creative use of visual tools and mass media has played a fundamental role. Within the Peruvian political scenario, the figure of Alberto Pizango Chota, Shawi leader ofthe Aidesep organisation, has set an important precedent in this regard. His case is an exemplary field of study on the extraordinary possibilities of exhibition, the use of images, the fabrication of aesthetics and the elaboration of new expressive codes. These are all elements that contemporary Amazonian leadership can propose and disseminate through digital technologies and relations with the mass media.

The influence of the microbiota on the endocrine system and host metabolism is crucial to understanding how it can affect body weight.
