The article analyze the categories of contradictory totality and heterogeneity developed by Antonio Cornejo Polar, as well as other postulated categories from the Latin American sphere, to try to understand the dynamics of the globalization of the literary system, not as a linear process of homogenization,but as a process characterized by transculturation, multilingualism, multiculturalism, hybridity and heterogeneity, multiple reality crossed by complex ideological and intercultural conflicts, that is, not only by the coexistence in diversity, but by the conflictive character of this process. It also questions Franco Moretti’s concept of “world-system”, and Pascale Casanova’s approach to the World Republic of Letters, considering that both approaches fail to break with a perspective of Eurocentric analysis.

This article aimed to understand what teachers say about their literacy skills. En el ciclo regular 2021.1, en el curso de Tipografía, se realizó un proyecto de Lettering para el Instituto Riva-Agüero. Este consistía en plasmar un fragmento de una poesía que fuera parte de la colección de libros de “La Rama Florida”. Esta editorial, fundada por Javier Sologuren quien era poeta y profesor, era una colección de libros artesanales de poesía de varios autores de la época. Además, forma parte del archivo patrimonial de la biblioteca del IRA. El propósito de este estudio fue elaborar una propuesta didáctica para promover el aprendizaje de tipografía-lettering en estudiantes de una escuela de nivel superior, mediante el uso del software adobe illustrator. La metodología utilizada es de enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicó un cuestionario como instrumento de recojo de datos, para identificar el estado actual y niveles de aprendizaje de los estudiantes en tipografía-lettering. Se trabajó con toda la población conformada por 104 estudiantes. Los resultados indicaron que éstos, reconocen la importancia del uso del software para la construcción gráfica y la eficiencia del proceso de arquitectura tipográfica. On April 2, 1982, the Malvinas War began, in which Argentina confronted the United Kingdom to recover the Malvinas Islands. It occurred within the framework of the last military dictatorship, so that the dictatorship and the war are intertwined in social memory (Guber, 2001; Lorenz, 2009). The objective is to study the discursive representation of the war in personal letters written on the battle front in order to make the voice of the soldiers visible. La investigación realizada tuvo como objetivo principal, determinar si el lettering fue fuente de diseño en la construcción de la marca país, caso Perú y su incidencia en el posicionamiento al turista chileno año 2019. The configuration of education as a right and value in today's society is related to the creation and development of primary schools during the Ancient Régime, which were originally reserved for the privileged classes. The approaches of enlightened intellectuals allowed public authorities to detect the need to improve elementary education, and to create more and better schools of the so called "first letters", even for the most popular classes. This policy became one of the main educational objectives of Carlos III, who also opted to encourage the presence of girls in schools of first letters through the adoption of the Regulation for the establishment of free schools for girls in 1783.

El presente artículo relata una experiencia pedagógica realizada en el año 2020, que se ubica dentro del contexto en el que, debido a la pandemia por el COVID-19, la educación superior y todos los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje se tuvieron que adecuar a la modalidad a distancia y, desde esta perspectiva, los docentes y estudiantes tuvieron que enfrentarse a nuevos retos, adaptarse al desarrollo de nuevos entornos y desarrollar competencias para hacer frente a este contexto. En el curso de Tipografía y Diagramación, se tuvieron que adaptar a este entorno virtual, los contenidos y actividades prácticas del diseño tipográfico, que abarca desde los aspectos históricos, constructivos y formales de la letra, hasta los aspectos técnicos y digitales, buscando recursos TICS y estrategias de aprendizaje como el trabajo colaborativo.
