This investigation was initiated at the request of the mayor of the district of Santa Cruz de Flores and the National University Federico Villarreal (specialty of Anthropology and Archaeology) in order to conduct an interdisciplinary study on the cultural heritage of the district. A 1693 document sheds light on the translation into Castilian of witness testimonies uttered in the lengua general and recorded in writing a century earlier, as part of the activities of the interpreters-general in Lima’s appellate court (audiencia). The case demonstrates the official admission of written Quechua in judicial procedures as late as the closing decades of the seventeenth century. It reinforces the idea that the use of one or more standard varieties of Quechua by litigants and interpreters made the interpretive work of these translators in plurilingual contexts such as the court’s judicial district possible.

This paper main objectives are to evaluate the characteristics of tobacco and alcoholic beverage consumption as well as associated psychosocial factors in 466 adolescent freshmen in a private university in Lima.We found life prevalence and current consumption rates are higher for alcohol among male students, being beer the most consumed alcohol beverage than other spirits. The pattern of consumption of these substances is social and recreational. With regard to psychosocial aspects, similarities were found between alcoholic beverages and tobacco consumers and nonconsumers or totally abstemious ones (neither alcohol nor tobacco).Only nine adolescents, out of 466, reported that they had never consumed alcoholic beverages nor tobacco (non-consumers) and eight percent of the sample reported illegal psychoactive substance live prevalence.

Un contexto funerario, excavado en 1982, en el sitio de Armatambo proporciona la base para describir el estilo de textiles Ychsma durante el Horizonte Tardío. Los datos textiles (tipos de prendas de vestir, la iconografía, la disposición de diseño, las fibras, las estructuras de tejido, hilos, colores, etc.) son suficientemente extensos para distinguir los tipos de textiles Ychsma con textiles de otros estilos, y para identificar textiles semejantes en colecciones de museos. La procedencia de los textiles Ychsma en las colecciones de los museos, es considerada para sugerir el ámbito de interacción de la cultura Ychsma en la costa central.

Objectives. To identify late intrauterine growth restricted newborns (IUGR) with normal umbilical artery Doppler and assess the antepartum diagnostic value of a multi parameter algorithm. Material and methods. Analytic, observational, retrospective study and elaboration plus preliminary assessment of a diagnostic tool. 96 non anomalous newborns between 35 and 41 weeks of gestational age were randomly selected. 23 small for gestational age (SGE) according to local growth classification method, 13 borderline adequate for gestational age (AGE)(inside the 200 g over tenth percentile ) and 60 AEG over the 25 percentil. Using a pre established operative definition 22 IUGR (cases) and 74 non IUGR (controls ) were detected. For Statistical analysis we used Epidat 3,1 to calculate values for simple diagnostic Tests. La coyuntura actual ha afectado considerablemente a varios rubros de las empresas, sin duda alguna debido a que el turismo entre países es casi nulo, la industria hotelera es una de las más afectadas por el coronavirus. Es por ello que en el presente trabajo se propone un video publicitario para el hotel BTH Hotel Boutique Concept, desarrollado con un storytelling aplicado al relato del mismo. Asimismo, este recurso nos permite empatizar con un potencial cliente para que este se vea más influenciado a poder vivir la experiencia BTH. Con la producción de este video se espera reforzar el engagement con el público objetivo actual y también generar intriga en un nicho de personas nuevas .

While the management and use of space at sites in the high altitude basin of Chillón have been studied succinctly, this article proposes to correlate field data conducted in 1998 with several diverse archaeological and ethnohistorical studies for the area. With this perspective we suggest that the site of Huanchosmarca was constructed under a model of asymmetrical growth in a manner directed at the sacred space of Cerro Cahuara or “guardian apu” of this area, a place that was linked to the parcialidad Viscas, the ayllu responsible for the Huanchosmarca and Quecamarca villages.

This research study presents a general review of the Peruvian Central Coast during the Intermediate Late Period based on new archaeological evidence and current studies. We intend to establish the factors of change in the Ychsma society. To do this, we discuss the concepts of culture, space, style and ceramic workshops. Finally, a preliminary identification takes into account tables of climatic oscillation and association with the evolution of societies during the Intermediate Late Period and are used as evidence to interpret these complex change.

This preliminary research results from prospecting and archaeological survey conducted in the valley under the Chillon. The central area is the left side and from the archaeological site Huaca Pro series Formal and Perceptive characters that allow an understanding of the social dynamics are analyzed. The settlement is analyzed within and interspace level, approaching proxemic sense understanding between nearby. This study aimed to characterize some of the ingredients typical of the ceramic phase Ichma Beginner, it is used exclusively for qualifying order stylistic parameters, to establish categories confrontations and contrasts. We believe that this is even necessary to create appropriate methodological tools to achieve results of greater explanatory scope and accuracy. Pituitary stalk interruption syndrome (PSIS) is a congenital genetic disorder that causes hypopituitarism, which is characterized by hypoplasia of the adenohypophysis, ectopic neurohypophysis and pituitary stalk interruption. The clinical manifestations are related to varying degrees of pituitary hormone deficiency (panhypopituitarism). The diagnosis is usually made late or goes unnoticed because it depends on the clinical manifestations presented, a fact that is associated with high morbidity and mortality in patients. The social well-being of a child who showed elements of destructive behavior is assessed, the role of an educational institution in the life of juvenile delinquents is examined. I present in this article the results of survey and mapping at sites with early monumental architecture in the Middle Fortaleza Valley. Architecture provisionally assigned to the Late Archaic period is analyzed, and some hypotheses on its development are proposed. The Fortaleza sites are then compared with other ones throughout the North Central Coast. I propose that the architectural complexes in this region seem to correspond to local-range sociopolitical entities, instead of large, regional polities. Finally, I conclude with some thoughts on new theoretical perspectives to understand the origins and development of such entities.

It will focus on the study and analysis of the architectural components present in the archaeological site Palacio de Oquendo, as in the site and architectural design you are presenting. This article presents the preliminary results of recent excavation of a massive sacrificial context at the site of Huanchaquito-Las Llamas, in the northern end of the Moche valley. Results of preliminary field and laboratory analysis of the human and camelid remains are presented, along with a description of their archaeological context. One of the major concerns of this paper is to discuss the nature of the Chimu sacrificial practices, based on the available data for other sites within the Moche valley and in other valleys of the north coast region. From this comparative analysis we develop a working hypothesis for interpreting this sacrifical context. The potential social, political and ideological impact of this kind of sacrificial event is evaluated in the context of the emergence of Chan Chan, the largest urban settlement along the Peruvian north coast prior to the Inca invasion.
