In recent decades, Peru has experienced a 2.8% GDP growth, thanks to the gastronomic sector. Engaging in the food business has thus become a robust source of income for the country. Despite this, certain companies face internal issues related to the stocks managed by restaurants, as their staff lacks the necessary knowledge to handle inventory. This results in a 9.7% loss of sales within the sector, while the analyzed company incurs a 17% loss. The aim was to analyze the psychometric properties of Sexuality and the Mental Retardation Attitude Inventory (SMRAI) in a sample of 144 psychology college students from a private university in Lima, of which 44 were males (30.6%) and 100 female (69.4%), aged between 17 and 43 years (average: 21.92). The confirmatory factor analysis conducted reveals that this test presents a two-factor structure with adequate fit indices. Furthermore, regarding the reliability of the construct by an indicator Rho, was obtained a coefficient .804. We conclude that SMRAI has to deploy adequate oriented learn more facets of attitudes towards the sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities.

In this study the psychometric properties of State-Trait Depression Inventory (STDI) were analyzed in a sample of adults from metropolitan Lima, to obtain validity evidences that support its use both in the consulting and non-consulting population. Acceptable indicators of reliability were found through a method of internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha), as well as content validity evidence, factorial validity and of criteria validity. Therefore, the STDI is a valid and reliable instrument to evaluate the affective component of depression.

The objective of this instrumental study (Ato, López & Benavente, 2013) or psychometric-type (Alarcón, 2008) was to estimate the validity and reliability of the Self-Efficacy Inventory for Multiple Intelligences-Revised (IAMI-R, Pérez & Cupani, 2008) in Peruvian students of fifth year of high school. We worked with a sample of 1304 adolescents, with an average age of 16.81, divided into two groups of 652. Reliability was calculated with the Ordinal Alpha (Contreras & Novoa-Muñoz, 2018) and with the McDonald’s Omega coefficient, obtaining appropriate values. El liderazgo de los líderes institucionales, conocido como distribuido, contribuye en la instrucción de los estudiantes, y ello es de importancia en el contexto iberoamericano (García y Martinez, 2019). Para ello, se empleó una muestra de 300 docentes de diferentes instituciones educativas entre nacionales y particulares de Lima Metropolitana. The present study explores the psychometric properties of the Parent Perception Inventory (Hazzard et al., 1983), instrument elaborated to describe, with a global approach, the parenting practices just as they are experienced and perceived by the own children. In a sample of 276 students from the 2do to the 6to degree of primary of a private school, the cluster analysis applied confirmed the internal structure of the inventory. On the other hand, the gender of the students as much as the school degree explained little variance in the differences in scores. These differences were, in general, not significant. On the other hand, regarding the psychometric propierties, (1) the analysis supported the validity of the assumed bi-dimensional structure; and (2) the reliability is acceptable.

La importancia de implementar un adecuado proceso de gestión de la demanda y el inventario mejora la coordinación en los modelos de cadena de suministro. El propósito de esta investigación es analizar y proponer la aplicación de una técnica de pronóstico y la implementación de una política de revisión continua de inventario mediante el diseño de una simulación para una empresa del sector comercial veterinario. Actualmente, las empresas sin esta coordinación obtienen un nivel de inventario inadecuado generando pérdidas en las utilidades y un bajo nivel de demanda de servicio. Este estudio presenta como resultado un modelo de optimización basado en la técnica ARIMA y un modelo de inventario simulado en el software Arena.

The purpose of this research was to construct and validate an instrument to meet adequate psychometric properties to measure the emotional dependency. The total sample consisted of 757 participants from Lima-Peru (398 women and 359 men) aged between 18 and 55. Of total initial items were eliminated over 75% of them through systematic procedures, leaving the final test consisted of 49 items. The results show that Emotional Dependency Inventory - IDE has confiabiliadad indicators and evidence of adequate construct validity.

Muchas empresas mayoristas no usan un control adecuado de su nivel de inventario, y variables como la demanda de productos varían continuamente por la estacionalidad y las tendencias del mercado, generando costes que reducen la rentabilidad de la empresa y producen insatisfacción de los clientes con el servicio ofrecido. Between November 2018 and February 2019, we characterized the actual situation of inventory management in the company in the first stage of the research; in the second stage, we designed the inventory system. El objetivo principal de este estudio fue examinar las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario Maslach Burnout - Encuesta para Estudiantes (MBI-SS) versión Lima, en estudiantes universitarios de Piura. Se trabajó con una muestra de 314 estudiantes de tres universidades privadas de Piura, seleccionados mediante un diseño instrumental por muestreo de conveniencia. Se utilizó el instrumento MBI-SS Montero y Soria (2019) diseñado por Schaufeli et al. (2002), que incluye tres dimensiones: fatiga emocional, desapego y rendimiento académico. En cuanto a los resultados, la evaluación de la validez de contenido a través del método de juicio de expertos mostró índices de 1 para transparencia, consistencia e importancia. The BarOn Emotional Inventory was standardized in a representative sample of 3.375 subjects (7-18 years old) from the urban area of Lima. The factorial structure was determined for the complete and brief version of the inventory by means of a principal component analysis with varimax rotation, including sex, age and type of school (state and private) variables. Four empirical factors were confirmed, including intrapersonal, interpersonal, adaptability and stress management as initially found by BarON (2000). Indicators of divergent validity between emotional intelligence and depression constructs were revealed.
