El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la respuesta inmune de macroquistes pequeños y grandes de Sarcocystis aucheniae utilizando tres protocolos de inoculación. Para la obtención del antígeno se recolectaron cuellos de alpaca con quistes de S. aucheniae del camal de Huancavelica, Perú. Los quistes colectados fueron clasificados según el tamaño, en macroquistes grandes (>5 mm) y pequeños (1-3 mm), obteniéndose una concentración de proteína antigénica de 3.23 y 2.45 mg/ml, respectivamente. The aim of this study was to evaluate the immune response of small and large macrocysts of Sarcocystis auchenie using three protocols of inoculation. Alpaca meat samples with S. aucheniae were obtained from the slaughterhouse of Huancavelica, Peru. Cysts were collected and classified by size in large (>5 mm) and small (1-3 mm), obtaining 3.23 and 2.45 mg/ml respectively of antigenic protein by the Biuret method. The study aimed to determine changes in respiratory and heart rate, pulse, saturation of oxygen, temperature and blood pressure caused by the combination of tramadol, diazepam, xylazine and ketamine during canine ovariohysterectomy for possible use in sterilization campaigns. Ten bitches between 10 months and 6 years of age of different breeds and sizes, clinically healthy, with hemogram and leucogram normal and classified as ASA I and II, were subjected to elective surgery ovariohysterectomy using the same anesthetic protocol. Physiological data was recorded during the six stages of the anesthetic-surgical procedure. Heart rate and pulse were within normal levels. Three patients presented tachypnea during maintenance. El trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto de dos dosis de eCG sobre la respuesta superovulatoria, tasa de recuperación embrionaria y alteraciones reproductivas inducidas. The restoration of large class II MOD cavity preparations is a highly complex clinical scenario. Selecting correctly a composite resin and planning the stratification sequence will improve the adaptation of the composite resin masses and will control the polymerization shrinkage stress. In the following clinical case report, the step- by-step protocol of the combined use of an high-refractive-index enamel-like composite resin is shown for the restoration of lost marginal ridges and the occlusal surface, together with a low viscosity Bulk-Fill composite resin for dentine reconstruction in a highly damaged posterior tooth.

Se utilizaron 333 vaquillonas para producción de carne con 15 meses de edad y condición corporal promedio de 6 (escala 1-9). El 53.5% presentó un cuerpo lúteo activo al inicio del trabajo. En el día 0, se colocó un dispositivo intravaginal con 0.5 g de progesterona (DISP) y se inyectó 2 mg de benzoato de estradiol. El día 8 se retiró el DISP y se inyectó 0.5 mg de cloprostenol y 0.5 mg de cipionato de estradiol i.m. In the study was used 333 15-month-old beef heifers with body condition of 6 on average (scale 1-9). On this, 53.5% presented an active corpus luteum at the beginning of the study. On day 0, an intravaginal device with 0.5 g of progesterone (IVD) was placed and 2 mg of estradiol benzoate was injected. On day 8 the IVD was removed and 0.5 mg of cloprostenol and 0.5 mg of estradiol cypionate were i.m. injected. On day 10, artificial insemination at fixed time (IATF) was carried out, distributing the animals at random to be inseminated in three-time ranges: I) 48-50 h; II: >50-53 h; III) >53-56 h. El objetivo del presente estudio fue establecer la relación entre los diagnósticos físicos de los TTM (eje I) y el aspecto psicosocial (eje II) según el “Criterio de Diagnóstico para los Trastornos Temporomandibulares” (DC/TMD) en los pacientes adultos que acuden al servicio de Estomatología del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza (HNAL) durante el 2015. El diseño de la investigación fue polietápico, analítico, observacional, transversal y de tipo caso y control. El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar y describir las características principales del razonamiento correlacional en estudiantes de psicología de una universidad privada de Lima. Para esto, se contó con la participación de 36 alumnos de décimo ciclo de formación, con edades entre 20 y 25 años.
