Purpose – The traditional one-stage constant growth formula has two main underlying assumptions: a company will be able to maintain its competitive advantage for completed investments in perpetuity and each year in the future it will be able to generate new investment opportunities with the same competitive advantage which will also remain in perpetuity. In the present work, we study a non-homogeneous second order partial hyperbolic differential equation, its canonical form, its resolution using D’Alembert’s formula and  Green’s theorem. Only mixed initial conditions that are not homogeneous are required to solve this problem. There are several physical problems that lead to this type of mathematical model, so this technique of resolution contributes to the knowledge of finding explicit solutions of problems such as two-dimensional wave type. Within the results the explicit solution of three cases is generated: regarding the homogeneity and non-homogeneity of the initial conditions and the term source, from the point of view of analytical solution for continuous functions.

La desnutrición infantil es una problemática dramática en nuestro país con implicancias socio-políticas y económicas que están involucradas íntimamente en su solución. El estudio que presentamos contribuye al adecuado manejo nutricional ambulatorio de niños en riesgo de desnutrición. Para tal efecto evaluamos a 67 niños entre seis meses y tres años que acudieron a nuestro hospital entre setiembre de 1997 y febrero de 1998. Diseñamos una fórmula de recuperación nutricional a la que denominamos "alternativa", porque propone mejoras organolépticas, económicas y de enfoque fisiopatológico, con relación a otras utilizadas en niños desnutridos. This research work solves the problem of least squares that requires inner elipsoid algorithm to determine the descent direction; giving solution to linear programming problems by means of this methodof interior points. We solve the least squares problem using auxiliary function with logarithmic barrier and an approximation of the original matrix factorization by a matrix of rank one update to nally use the Sherman-Morrison-Woodburry formula and determining the inverse of the current matrix thus solving the least squares problem and obtaining a approximation to the descent direction.

En el presente trabajo se estudia una Ecuación Diferencial Parcial Hiperbólica con término fuente no homogéneo de segundo orden, su forma canónica, su resolución mediante la fórmula de D’Alembert y el Teorema de Green. Para la resolución de este problema solo se requiere las condiciones iniciales mixtas. Existen diversos problemas físicos que conducen a este tipo de modelo matemático, por lo cual esta técnica de resolución contribuye al conocimiento de encontrar soluciones explícitas de problemas como por ejemplo tipo onda bidimensional sometidos a fuerzas exteriores. Dentro de los resultados se genera la solución explícita de tres casos: respecto a la homogeneidad y no homogeneidad de las condiciones iniciales y del término fuente, desde el punto de vista de solución analítica para funciones de clase C2.

The present essay focuses its development on the analysis of two important fields for our country: human capital and innovation. On the first, we emphasize the critical challenges facing the youth sector for its acquisition and development. Likewise, in terms of innovation, we ponder over some new public policy instruments that are being developed in other latitudes with positive results. Finally, we develop a proposal that tries to connect both points. That is, an instrument, the social impact bond, with proven results in other territories, projecting it and adapting it to a possible implementation in the youth population of the service sector, specifically in the tourism sector, around their first work experience. The formula is proposed at the scale level for prototyping, validation and obtaining lessons learned.

In this work, the authors perturb the Euclidean plane with a constant vector field of the form W = (0, ε) with 0 ≤ ε < 1, which can be interpreted as wind currents affecting the movement of ships in a constant unidirectional way. It is observed that the resulting perturbed norm, called the ε-Euclidean metric, which is non-reversible, is a Finsler metric. In this way, a new non-Euclidean geometry is introduced. With this, the ε-Euclidean distance is induced and defined. This new way of measuring point-to-point distances can be interpreted, physically, as optimal travel time. La anemia es uno los principales problemas de salud pública a nivel nacional; por ello se desea evaluar nuevas fórmulas alimenticias que ayuden a disminuir su incidencia. Objetivo: Evaluar la toxicidad aguda de tres fórmulas alimenticias (FA1, FA2, FA3) y el efecto de estas sobre los niveles de hemoglobina en ratas con anemia ferropénica inducida. Metodología: Se utilizaron en total 78 ratas cepa Holtzman, 24 para toxicidad aguda y 54 para la actividad antianémica. Se utilizó como referencia la guía n°423 de la OECD (Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos) para el ensayo de toxicidad aguda oral en ratas. This article deals with the asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of fourth order linear differential equation where the coefficients are perturbations of linear constant coefficient equation. We define a change of variable and deduce that the new variable satisfies a third order nonlinear differential equation. We assume three hypotheses. The first hypothesis is related to the constant coefficients and set up that the characteristic polynomial associated with the fourth order linear equation has simple and real roots.
