Luego de haber leído con mucho interés el articulo “Bolos epidurales intermitentes programados para mantenimiento de la analgesia del trabajo de parto: estudio observacional, analítico de tipo cohorte” por Calderon Lozano Marjorie et al. publicado en el volumen 9 número 3 de la Revista Peruana de la Investigación Materno Perinatal (INMP), considero de suma importancia poder responder la pregunta si realmente esta tecnica de mantenimiento de analgesia prolonga los tiempos del trabajo de parto teniendo en cuenta la información actual. La analgesia epidural actualmente es la técnica más segura y eficaz con la que contamos para controlar el dolor de parto1. Thirty semen samples from 10 sexually mature rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) were used. Each sample was diluted separately in a 1:10 ratio in four extenders, composed of skim milk and sugars (T1); dextrose, sodium citrate, and potassium acetate (T2); sodium caseinates, phosphates and sugars (T3); and tris-citric acid and egg yolk (T4). The semen was kept at 16 °C for 72 hours. At the time of dilution and every 24 hours, total motility (MT), progressive motility (MP) and sperm kinetics were evaluated with the Sperm Class Analyzer® system, and vitality and morphology were evaluated by the eosin-nigrosin staining. Se evaluó el efecto del contenido de materia grasa (%MG), en leche descremada UHT usada como diluyente seminal sobre la integridad de membrana plasmática y la motilidad progresiva (MP) de espermatozoides caninos preservados a 4 °C. Se obtuvieron 20 eyaculados mediante manipulación digital de 10 perros Bulldog Inglés y American Bully de fertilidad probada. Cada eyaculado fue evaluado a través de espermiograma convencional y de una prueba hipoosmótica simplificada (HOST-s). Las muestras fueron fraccionadas y diluidas en relación 1:3 con leche descremada UHT como diluyente a 0%MG y 0.5%MG, con adición de estreptomicina (50 mg/100 ml) y penicilina sódica (50 mg/100 ml). El presente trabajo tuvo el propósito de evaluar la eficiencia de tres dilutores: Trisglucosa, Tris-fructosa y un dilutor comercial de cerdo, en la conservación del semen de alpaca. Se utilizaron 12 machos que fueron entrenados por un mes en la colección de semen con vagina artificial y frazadilla eléctrica. Los animales fueron de la Sub-Estación ExperimentalQuimsachata del INIA, Puno. Future time perspective extension is an individual's perception of the psychological distance between future goals. The concept of extension can be expanded to include how far into the future an individual habitual time space extends and the diffusion of goals within that time space. This alignment and distance may be related to the individual episodic future thinking, the pre-experiencing of future events. This article analyzes the dynamic of an extended SEIR model for the spread of COVID-19 considering a system of 7 differential equations whose stages are susceptible, exposed, infected, quarantined, recovered, dead and vaccinated. The necessary and sufficient conditions are determined for non-negativity, delimitation, existence and uniqueness of the solution of the model, local stability of the equilibrium points and the next generation matrix method. The simulations made in Python complement the qualitative analysis of the mathematical model to conclude the behavior of the virus spread over time; the information shown in this work could also be useful for the development of new prevention measures.

Twenty canine ejaculates (2nd fraction) were obtained by digital manipulation with the purpose of evaluating the effect of two extenders on the preservation of canine spermatozoa stored at 4 °C. Each ejaculate was evaluated through a spermiogram and the hypo-osmotic swelling test (HOST). The ejaculates were fractioned and diluted in a rate of 1:3 using egg yolk + TRIS + glucose + antibiotic (EYT) (365 mOsm/kg, pH 6.8) and skimmed milk (0.5% fat, UHT-treated) + antibiotic (SM) (272 mOsm/kg, pH 6.8). Progressive motility (PM) was 95.7 ± 3.6% and the HOST response was 79.8 ± 6.6% in fresh semen. In order to compare the effect of the two extenders on the preservation of the potential fertility, the PM and HOST were evaluated after 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours of storage at 4 ºC. Con el propósito de evaluar el efecto de dos diluyentes seminales sobre la fertilidad potencial de espermatozoides caninos conservados a 4 ºC, se obtuvieron 20 eyaculados mediante manipulación digital. Cada eyaculado fue evaluado a través de espermiograma y de la prueba hipoosmótica (HOST), para luego ser fraccionado y diluido en relación 1:3 con uno de los siguientes diluyentes: yema de huevo + TRIS (EYT) (365 mOsm/kg, pH 6.8) y leche descremada fluida UHT (LD) (272 mOsm/kg, pH 6.8). El presente informe por suficiencia profesional muestra la selección de un equipo de microfiltrado, diseño y montaje a bordo en una pala hidráulica 6040FS de la empresa COSAPI MINERÍA S.A.C. Este nuevo sistema de microfiltración realizará una filtración adicional y en paralelo al sistema que la pala hidráulica tiene de fábrica, con el objetivo de obtener un lubricante más limpio y así extender la vida útil del aceite hidráulico y, por consiguiente, cuidar los componentes hidráulicos que interactúan con este aceite. The bleaching agents used on the enamel surface, due to the degradation of the peroxides used, generate oxygen free radicals that alter the bonding strength. The research focuses on analyzing transmedia narratives when reporting on an earthquake from a national digital newspaper, an international one, and also the impact of Facebook when disseminating the event. The objective is to compare the content generated about the earthquake of April 16, 2016, in Ecuador through transmedia tools in El Comercio (Ecuador) and El País (Spain), and Facebook. The aim is to know the role of the audience as prosumers of information. The methodology applied was mixed: qualitative and quantitative; the sample analyzed was 1126 informative pieces from El Comercio, 44 from El País and 1155 Facebook mentions. The need to educate and inform citizens about preventing the consequences of natural disasters and the treatment given by digital media justifies the study. The aim of the study was to determine the maximum time to recover and cryopreservespermatozoa from the tail of canine epididymis post orchiectomy. The testes were obtainedthrough orchiectomy from 20 dogs aged 1 to 8 years. The testis were placed in sodiumchloride 0.9% and stored at 5 °C for 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours.
