The study analyzes the export competitiveness of Peruvian coffee in international markets using the ARIMA model to forecast export trends. The objective is to identify factors influencing the sector's profitability and sustainability. Time series of export volumes and prices were evaluated, revealing that the ARIMA model allows for accurate predictions of future trends. The results suggest that the Peruvian coffee sector faces challenges related to international price fluctuations and global competition. Emphasis is placed on the importance of efficiency in production and export processes to maintain and enhance the competitiveness of Peruvian coffee in the global market.

One of the main problems faced by small rural farming units is to develop and implement managerial models that contribute to leverage their natural potential and boost their productive development. In order to mitigate the impact of this problem, a cross-section, exploratorydescriptive, non-experimental and prospective research was carried on, between 2008 and 2011. The main propose of this research was to design a model for autonomous development which integrates the public, private and academic sectors in order to ensure the use of the resources in a sustainable and competitive manner taking into account agricultural practices, water resources, technological park, non-traditional activities (tourism and aquaculture ) and government public policies.

In this work, we try to find factors that determine the export continuity of Peruvian apparel exporters. Logistic regression has been used because it gives several advantages over other methods where the outcome variable is dichotomous or continuous with few values. Logit model exhibits significant interactions which have been deeply analyzed. Likewise, it was possible an exhaustive residual and goodness-of-fit analysis. Finally, we could validate the model for forecast of export continuity in 2006.

La investigación titulada “Cadena Productiva de la tara y sus derivados para su Exportación a Argentina”, tiene como objetivo general analizar la cadena productiva en la exportación del sector productivo de la tara y derivados que permita desarrollar ventajas competitivas en las etapas de comercialización hacia Argentina. This study aims to examine the relationship between export externalities and economic growth at the industrial level in Peru between 2008 and 2022, in an effort to test the hypothesis that there are heterogeneous effects of trade on domestic industries. Based on endogenous growth theory and Feder's work, an econometric panel data model is formulated to measure the relationship between the described variables and the industrial GDP growth rate. The results suggest the existence of a positive and significant effect of export externalities on GDP, regardless of the panel model used.

Esta investigación se basa en la detección de problemas mediante diagnósticos técnicos para comprender la causa raíz a través de la metodología "5 ¿Por qué?" y determinar las mejores prácticas que podrían implementarse para abordar la situación que no permita escalar a un mayor impacto en la producción. Este estudio permitió diseñar, adquirir, instalar, poner en marcha e implementar dos arrancadores directos redundantes y dos variadores de velocidad para controlar la velocidad de dos motores agitadores en dos tanques de concentrado de cobre. Uno de los principales problemas era que los sólidos no procesados se acumulaban en forma de sedimentos en el fondo de los tanques. The purpose of the study using 386 monthly data from the period 1992:11 to 2024:12 was to compare the forecasting capacity of two multivariate models: the Vector Autoregressive Model (VAR) and the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). According to the indicators Root Mean Squared Error (RSME) and the average of the errors measured as the percentage of the difference (in absolute value) between the observed and predicted value (Mean Absolute Percentage Error – MAPE), the VECM model reported better performance, since the RMSE was 174 million dollars lower than that of the VAR, which showed 400 million. The MAPE was 50.44% compared to the VAR MAPE of 263%. The Granger causality test shows that there is causality between the study variables except for exports and the multilateral real exchange rate, which do not explain the inflation of trading partners, which makes economic sense.

Exports are one of the key aggregates in the Argentina’s economy, both because to its links with the domestic demand and by its influence on the behaviour of the trade balance and current account.
