There is at present in Peru an important concern in the knowledge society to respond to the demands of the productive sector already that during these last decades the specialties in each college were introduced on the initiative of the teachers, without any study of the labor market or the needs of the different regions, nor of the contributions of the industrial engineers to secondary education directly or indirectly. Modern society is increasingly aware that innovation and entrepreneurship play a transcendental role in achieving a sustainable economy that ensures the social well-being and employability of young people, hence the importance of promoting them through the university curriculum. For this reason, it is of great interest to determine the impact that universities and their educational models are having on entrepreneur training, since they may not be addressing the necessary skills. In this sense, the current study sought to characterize the entrepreneurial training of academic programs in the humanities at higher education institutions in Mexico that are members of the National Network of Schools and Faculties of Philosophy, Letters, and Humanities, as well as the necessary competencies for graduates to engage in entrepreneurial activity. For the methodological design, we used a descriptive...

This document constitutes an update of the original document written for the Regional Meeting organized by UNESCO-OREALC to focus on and consider alternatives related to Women’s Education in Latin America. I was invited to Panama to share with colleagues the perspectives on this matter. Due to having had a direct and pioneering participation in the non-formal education of the programs in Peru and in Latin America, I was selected to share these experiences. At present, I think it is appropriate to carry out 30 years later, an update with a comprehensive verification of PRONOEI impact not only including boys and girls who are the fundamental objective of these programs but mainly all participating actors which are about 99% women. Preliminaries contributions are abridged in Braslavsky (1984).

The purpose of this work is to analyze the activities related to Financial Education in the textbooks used in Primary Education, both in public and subsidized schools in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, considering the OECD definition for financial competence. Through a qualitative methodological process, based on content analysis, an entire textbooks' series was studied for the subject of mathematics. The outcome showed the existence of 252 activities that agree with the Financial Education proposed model, highlighting the categories of money's value (145 activities) and state and citizens (133) with the greatest presence and, therefore, with the greatest development.
