This paper presents a state-of-the-art review of rural higher education in Colombia, focusing on academic work conducted between 2015 and 2023. Employing a qualitative approach and drawing on Pierre Bourdieu’s methodology of the field of knowledge, a systematic documentary review was carried out. The analysis identified two main categories of work: Within the academy and Outside the academy, each further subdivided to provide a nuanced examination of the strengths and weaknesses of the reviewed studies. The findings highlight significant gaps and challenges in the field. The paper concludes by emphasizing the urgent need for more inclusive and diversified public policies to address persistent educational inequalities in rural areas.

The aim of this article is to offer a bibliographical review of the main editions that the journal Letras (Lima) has published since its foundation (1929). To this end, following documentary-methods, we review some of the most important milestones in the trajectory of this journal. First, we look at the first issue of the journal. We review the content published, as well as the imprint it established with its origin. Second, we situate the journal Letras (Lima) within the tradition of academic journals published at the UNMSM in contrast to some nineteenth-century journals and its current situation. In the review of a corpus of twelve social studies texts on Lambayeque from the period 1922-1989, there is a consistent declaration of overwhelming difficulties in accessing printed sources and historical archives. I present this difficulty as a tragedy of inequality, which nevertheless defines the ethos and academic identity of studies in this province of northern Peru.

This article describes some aesthetic and pedagogical characteristics of theater companies working in the state of São Paulo and in the Brazilian capitals. Since 2018, a group of researchers has established, through networks, contact with hundreds of companies, in order to learn more about their history, creative processes, most significant theoretical references, important partnerships and the role of theater for them. This text sums up some of these results.

The objective of this study was to investigate Learning Assessment as an integral part of the professional knowledge required for educators to assess whether educational objectives have been met at the tertiary level. A comprehensive literature review was conducted, analyzing academic sources within the Web of Science database from 2017 to 2021, resulting in a collection of 56 papers in Spanish. The purpose of the study was to identify and analyze the contributions made to the development of critical thinking in the educational field. Therefore, the examination corresponds to a systematic review design of basic research. The information was collected using the bibliographic and systematic search of documents in different reliable databases. Twenty articles were selected. From the documentary review, it has been determined that the most prevalent investigations have been quantitative, descriptive, qualitative, and mixed. The purpose of the research was to offer a comprehensive analysis of disruptive technologies in supply chain and logistics. The study was carried out through a documentary and bibliographic approach, using a systematic review as a methodology. The PRISMA diagram was used to select the sample, composed of articles indexed in the Scopus database. Specific inclusion criteria were applied, selecting relevant articles published between 2020 and 2024 in any language and using any methodology, with open access. The objective is to examine what new ways of planning facility design have been developed for food manufacturing for the fourth industrial generation. The theoretical justification for this research is that it is conducted for the purpose of confronting the theory of layout planning using the SLP with other existing ones. From a documentary, exploratory and systematized design, the results reveal that systematic layout planning (SLP) is maintained and that its application allows facilities for maintenance, better inventory management, cost reduction and sustainability in the food industry.

In an increasingly integrated and challenging world, companies require administrators whoare able to cope with a globalized and highly competitive business environment. In thatsense, the objective of the research is to establish the competences of the administrator’sgraduate profile to perform in a global context. To this aim, a qualitative design researchof documentary type was developed, using as a source of information scientific papersindexed in the Google Academic database. An important finding is that genericcompetences such as teamwork, strategic leadership, adaptation to change, technologymanagement and ability to interact in multicultural environments, among others, are morevalued by employers than specific competences.

Creative thinking is the key to adapting to rapidly changing living conditions and providing innovative solutions to various problems, especially in science and technology. The objective of this study was to provide a conceptual basis on didactic strategies and creative thinking, as well as to visualize the implication of the application of various systems in the development of creativity of students in secondary education. The methodology used was the documentary review of 50 articles published in various reliable databases. In addition, the axes of the study proposed as conceptual definitions and didactic strategies for developing creative thinking were taken into account. Finally, it is concluded that if we properly apply didactic methods that develop higher-order skills, there will be more options to increase students' creative thinking.

Objetivo: Analizar la evolución y tendencias bibliométricas en la revista Quipukamayoc entre 1993-2023. Métodos: Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando el método analítico-sintético y la revisión documental como técnica de recolección de datos. La revisión bibliométrica se centró en tres áreas: análisis de los artículos, caracterización de los autores y evaluación del impacto de las publicaciones, proporcionando un estudio detallado y exhaustivo de las contribuciones en la revista.
