Gender: Incredibly, this word is very fashionable in all environments and spaces, and it is said that the concept of gender can be found in each of our daily actions; moreover, it was present since the beginning of humanity. But the difficulties for its understanding and implementation begin when we put the word equity before it, that is, "gender equity", which we define as complementary, equal opportunities, equal value of men and women, both united in the construction of a new world.

This paper examines the importance that judgements of taste have within Kant’s Critique of Judgement. It claims that looking for de facto agreements about judgements of taste is a mistake and that disagreements, instead, are desirable. Following Kant in the antinomy of taste, judgments of taste are not based on determined concepts, but rather on an undetermined one. Since the concept is not determined one cannot exhibit it in a sensible intuition or make direct reference to it. It is argued that universal agreement does not seek de facto agreement, but rather the discovery of a common sense in which one discovers that others can feel the same as one does with respect to a given representation. This undetermined concept becomes a “regulative ideal”, unobtainable in so far as one cannot determine it, but to which one must aim in order to perfect one’s taste. It is in the sphe...

“Problems of First Philosophy. On the Apel-Tugendhat Discussion”. If we deem it pertinent to inquire into the foundation of philosophy, focusing on the study of prima philosophia becomes a task as urgent as it is necessary. In believing so, we will explore two alternatives. On the one hand, we will refer to the position of Ernst Tugendhat and, on the other hand, to that of Karl-Otto Apel. While he suggests that the place of the prima philosophia must be occupied by the philosophy of language, the latter argues that the fundamental question of philosophical anthropology - “what is man?” - is even more basic. In his view, addressing human language implies a further step: to understand it as a funda-mental element, we must first ask ourselves about the characteristics that human beings have as such. In the first two parts, we will give an account of both points of view to, finally, ...

Throughout this article, the author will seek to prove that the concept of universality —which serves as a basis for the universal criminalization of particular acts— is nothing more than a fiction that does not respond to the noblest of reasons. He will build his analysis on the basis of the narratives of humanity and its atrocity, then analyze the concept of universality as a generally accepted attribute in international law and examine the discussion that exists with respect to natural law and positivism. Finally, it will provide a constructive critique of the concept, establishing the logic, strengths and inconsistencies behind the humanity and atrocity narratives of universality in international criminal law.

Truth is a theme of central importance in the works of Justin Martyr. It is a recurring issue       and a lot of insistence; basis for many key conclusions and statements of his apologetic project and for the context in which they were written. The bibliography usually identifies the truth in the author from the religious and Christian nuance, forgetting that his text can contribute to the discussion about the truth from different themes. In this work, reflections on the truth, its communication, its problems and its implications will be developed, from Justin’s ideas and vision on this topic.

Starting off the critics to the general ideas about legal persons, especially in relation of his colective character, the article does a study about the rol of the Sole Proprietorship in the modern economic activity and the transformation of this entity. This is done by considering the needs and interests of the businessman, being that the option for one-person companies, or with many partners, is merely conjuctural. The social utility of the legal entity takes precedence over static considerations regarding the supposed “nature” of the institution.

In this paper, the author explores the discussion surrounding the validity of asymmetric arbitration agreements and examines the bases for their treatment in Peru. In several jurisdictions, these agreements are considered as an expression of the contractual freedom of the parties that allows them to design the means to solve their controversies. However, others prohibit it as it poses one of the parties in a disadvantageous situation. Faced with this dilemma, the author seeks to determine the compatibility of these agreements with the Peruvian legal system through the study of various issues emerged around them: consent, inevitability, equality, voidance, pathology, among others. The author seeks to reach an intuitive answer about the validity of asymmetric arbitration agreements, based on the scarce Peruvian legal dispositions, the foundations of arbitration and arbitration agreements an...
