“Environmental Perception Process of Desertification in Perú”, try to do an analysis and evaluation of Peruvian territory in terms of enviromental degradation due to problems of biodiversity loss, progressive loss of productive capacity land ecosystem in the climaterelevant ecological Peruvian territory. The purpose is to know the territorial spaces with problems of environmental degradation and prevention alternatives to existing problems. To achieve the goals you have to gather preliminary information and propose alternative development that can contribute to the welfare of the population emphasizing the danger in decreased food production in the future.

The present work we report the detection of possible desertification zones through the series and trend map of NDVI and VCI from the AVHRR sensor of the NOAA satellite series for the period from 1982 to 2019. The data used were acquired from the CLASS/NOAA portal, level 1b, have a spatial resolution of 1 km and temporal resolution of 12 hours. Processing algorithms were developed to estimate monthly NDVI and VCI. Seven possible desertification zones were identified by elaborating series and decadal trend maps of the VCI, in which five zones were located in the coastal region, specifically in the limits of agricultural zones, where the zones with the highest negative decadal trend were Piura (-0.29 dec-1), Chiclayo (-0.36 dec-1) and Chicama (-0.27 dec-1) during the period from 1997 to 2006 while, in the jungle region, the highest negative trend was recorded in Huepetuhe, district of Madre...

Los bosques secos tropicales son considerados como ecosistemas amenazados en Colombia, porque están localizados en áreas con actividades humanas intensivas. Sin embargo, los efectos de la pérdida de hábitat sobre la distribución y abundancia de murciélagos en esta región es poco conocida. En este estudio se analizó la riqueza de especies, composición y abundancia relativa de los murciélagos en tres tipos de vegetación con diferente grado de intervención en el Bosque Seco Tropical de Nariño (Mesi: Matorral espinoso seco intervenido, Mesc: Matorral espinoso seco conservado, Bsi: Bosque semideciduo intervenido), Colombia. Tropical dry forests are considered as threatened ecosystems in Colombia, because they are located in areas with intensive human activities. However, the effects of habitat loss on the distribution and abundance of bats in this region are little known. The purpose of this study was to analyze species richness, composition and relative abundance of bats in three vegetation types with different degrees of intervention in the Tropical Dry Forest of Nariño (Mesi: Intervened dry thorn scrub, Mesc: Preserve dry thorn scrub, Bsi: Intervened semideciduous tropical forest), Colombia. Resenha da obra Desertificação em Portugal da investigadora e professora Maria José Roxo que sintetiza as teorias, implicações ambientais e antrópicas da desertificação a partir do contexto português. Trata-se de uma leitura respaldada na complexidade dos processos naturais e das atividades antrópicas em diferentes escalas. Assim, sintetiza uma importante revisão sobre as consequências na degradação dos solos, dos recursos hídricos e da biodiversidade, além de analisar os riscos de despovoamento, da fome e desafios agrícolas frente à desertificação e as mudanças climáticas.

Objetivo: Sistematizar las experiencias sobre desarrollo rural sostenible en los caseríos del distrito de Íllimo y de Jayanca, y discutir su aporte para la enfermería comunitaria. Método: El estudio cualitativo utilizó como método la sistematización de experiencias, los datos se recolectaron entre agosto y noviembre 2020 a través de la narrativa, y entrevista semiestructurada a 09 beneficiarios y 07 miembros del equipo que ejecutó los proyectos de desarrollo del 2000 al 2014. Se procesaron los datos con el análisis de contenido temático y se aplicaron los criterios éticos y de rigor científico. The change climate processes have called attention of science in recent decades; situations such as desertification and drought are issues of great importance. Where it was the interest to study the soil salinity and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) from images of the ETM + and TM sensors, these images were processed using the software ENVI 4.5 and IDL programming language. For this purpose, we implemented an artificial neural network with error back propagation architecture, for classifying soil salinity, using as input data of images NDVI and data soil electrical conductivity for the training.
