This is a descriptive-evolutive, dogmatic and comparative study on the collective processes of the European Union (EU). On November 25th, 2020, the Union adopted one of its most awaited legal instruments: the firstlegislation, that is supposed to create a European collective action mechanism for monetary relief. According to Directive 2020/1828 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers, and repealing Directive 2009/22/EC, member States have to adopt the transposing measures by December 25th, 2021, and give effect to them on and apply them to representative actions that are brought on or after June 25th, 2023. Peru is experiencing a boom through growing mine operations and projects. This has created expectations among the benefi ts that activity may create for the mines’ neighboring communities. Although in most cases results have not been very encouraging, this paper seeks to demonstrate whatever progress has been made in the mining companies’ social management, and the scope of their proposals for improvement by presenting and comparing successful social investment models used in Peru in recent years. It also examines the issue of the mining industry’s voluntary contributions, social contributions and social trust funds, and explains how the money is allocated.

This paper presents the proposal of the Inclusive Supply Movement (MIA), a logistics solution designed to address the problem of food insecurity in the common pots of Comas, Lima, thus contributing to sustainable development goals such as SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 10: Reducing inequalities. Research reveals that 29% of the Peruvian population lives in monetary poverty, increasing the need for access to nutritious and affordable food. MIA seeks to provide a supply system that guarantees the daily delivery of fresh food inputs to these community organizations, optimizing costs and improving food quality. In Peru, there are papers that study the dynamics of poverty; nevertheless, these documents do not make differences between levels of severity: extreme poverty and non-extreme poverty. In this sense, the main objective of this research is to identify the factors that make the households slip into and out of the extreme and non-extreme poverty in Peru (2003-2006). This paper finds out that there are different factors that make extreme and non-extreme poor households arrive to non-poverty. In this sense, the elements that only contribute to extreme poor households to reach the non-poverty are: housing conditions, literacy programs, shocks protection and politics of participative public management. El objetivo general es: Fortalecer las actitudes de conservación de la quebrada Rumiyacu de los miembros de la APAFA de la I.E. 00968 del sector los Algarrobos, a través de la aplicación de estrategias ambientales. El Tribunal de Justicia confirmó tempranamente que la tutela judicial efectiva es un principio general del Derecho comunitario. With the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, the foundation of case law turned to the Article 47 of the Charter, detecting progresses which suggest that the Court has assumed the task of conferring to said precept the effectiveness and the proper content that the protection of the rights recognized by EU law demands. This paper discusses the close similarities between Husserl’s, Scheler’s and Stein’s concept of the person as an absolute value that exercises itself in position-takings. Ethics, for the classical phenomenologists, Husserl, Scheler, and Stein, concerns the whole person, including the affective and rational dimensions, intellect and the heart, as well as volition. Persons are distinctive for their free agency, capacity to recognize norms, and ability to interact responsibly with other personal agents in the context of the communal and historical life-world.

This paper presents the first published report of a national-level effort to implement the integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI) strategy at scale. IMCI was introduced in Peru in late 1996, the early implementation phase started in 1997, with the expansion phase starting in 1998. Here we report on a retrospective evaluation designed to describe and analyze the process of taking IMCI to scale in Peru, conducted as one of five studies within the multicountry evaluation of IMCI effectiveness, cost and impact (MCE) coordinated by the World Health Organization. In Peru, health is understood in different ways and there are many practices that seek to maintain it. Each of these responds to spaces of identity and meaning shared by a community. While the official discourse promotes a bio-psychosocial model of health, many of the communities historically share different meanings and rituals in relation to health. The aim of this paper is to explore the encounters and misunderstandings between the official health system and other health systems during the first decade of 21st. century. To this end, a community approach is proposed, which exposes the historical and political characteristics that deny the recognition of other knowledge. The discussion focuses on the internal armed conflict and the Final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (CVR).

Neste artigo apresentamos a situação das mulheres do povo Shipibo na cidade de Lima, onde fundaram a Comunidade Nativa Shipiba de Cantagallo. Contamos a história da sua fundação e da sua integração na sociedade de Lima, bem como as suas lutas para permanecer no seu local de origem como Comunidade Nativa, mesmo depois da tragédia ocorrida a 4 de novembro de 2016, quando toda a comunidade foi incendiada. A história é contada pelos seus protagonistas e o nosso papel é entrevistar e sistematizar o que encontramos. Os testemunhos das mulheres Shipibo mostram-nos como mantêm a sua cultura num outro espaço que poderíamos dizer que territorializaram enquanto Comunidade Indígena e como desenvolveram autonomia e agência, longe das práticas ancestrais da sua cultura de mutilação genital feminina.

En el Perú, la salud es entendida de diversas maneras y son muchas las prácticas que buscan preservarla. Si bien la oficialidad promueve un modelo biopsicosocial de la salud, gran parte de las comunidades comparten históricamente distintos significados y rituales con relación a la salud. El objetivo este artículo es explorar los encuentros y desencuentros entre el sistema oficial y otros sistemas de salud durante la primera década del siglo XXI. Para ello, se propone incorporar un enfoque comunitario que denuncia las características históricas y políticas que crean un vacío en el reconocimiento de otros saberes. La discusión se centra en el contexto histórico del conflicto armado interno y el Informe final de la Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR).
