In this paper, we develop the theme of semiotics as the science that studies the processes of signification. As science explains and interprets verbal and nonverbal mechanisms used to communicate with the man, that is, to convey information about different realities; regularly does so through a range of signs. This is understandable, because in truth, the human being is a symbolic being, par excellence created, issued and interpreted signs, and in turn, organizes and systematizes through codes, in either case, culture is implicit. Without any doubt, to understand the nature of the human being and communication, one must understand the signs and codes. In this sense, for a better understanding and and we include a variety of examples, taken directly from users in a specific context.

La presente investigación permite conocer la problemática desde Diseño Gráfico en la comunicación visual de los materiales educativos adaptados por las docentes del CEBE San Martín de Porres, de la estrategia nacional Aprendo en casa. Objective: Characterize the presence of Responsible Communication in infographics published by pharmaceutical companies on the social network Facebook. Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive, transversal, and non-experimental. The present work consists of analyzing the existence of a communication policy in the Velasco Alvarado regime (1968-1975). The objective of the design of this policy was to disseminate the cultural proposals of the regime from the principle of refounding a new Peruvian nation. Given this, we distinguish two key concepts for this article: culture and the media. For this proposal, the media are instruments that use codes designed to disseminate messages articulated with the nationalism of the military regime. The visual content in the coverage of COVID-19 in the digital editions of the most consumed Spanish scientific journals during this epidemiologicalcrisis is analyzed. The objectives are to analyze the presence, number, typology, hyperlink and authorship of the image in the informative pieces. The image (n= 549) is analyzed in the informative pieces published in muyinnteresante. es (n= 204) and nationalgeographic.com.es (N=85) from February 7 to May 14, 2020. A content analysis was chosen by previously established codes to identify the variables under study. It is established that the potential of the image is not used in the digital environment and proposals for improvement are made to optimize the potential of the image due to its importance as a source of knowledge in times of health crisis.

The paper presents a review of the literature of news coverage on female presidential candidates. For this purpose, seven coverage frames are included: a) visibility, b) gender reiteration, c) mediation of the intimate sphere, personality, d) thematic agenda, e) tonality and f) particularities of the media. Finally, an operationalization proposal is formulated for each of the frames that could be used in future research that addresses these political figures. It is concluded that women are represented from their intimate sphere and femininity, characteristics that are far from being culturally appropriate for debate in the public and political arena.
