This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs. This article presents an experience carried out by the faculty of the third year of the Infant Education degree at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). A proposal for multidisciplinary intervention that joins two modules: one for arts (musical, corporal, visual, and plastic education) and another for sciences (mathematics, and experimental and social sciences). The intervention stems from a generating idea—the book “Alice in Wonderland”—which allows for connections between the contents of the modules, involves co-teaching, multidisciplinary work, and shared evaluation experiences. The aim of the study is to get to know the perception of the participating faculty about the changes in the didactic components involved in the experience. The research related to the practice of tutorial action in university students, aimed to determine the predominant component of tutorial, recognizing that tutorial in the university is gaining value and significance for the benefit of the students, as a support area, orientation and coverage during the educational procedure in its different academic, professional and personal dimensions. The study corresponds to the quantitative approach, deductive hypothetical and substantive method, non-experimental, cross-sectional or transactional and explanatory design, with a population of 2629 students whose representative sample was 335 participants. This paper examines internal investigations as an essential component of prevention models established under Law 30424 in Peru. Since the implementation of this regulation in 2017, supplemented by its 2019 decree, legal entities are required to adopt compliance programs or prevention models, known as Criminal Compliance, to mitigate the risks of criminal offenses. A key element of these models is the whistleblowing procedure, which includes internal investigations designed to identify crime indicators and ensure the validity of results. The study underscores the need to distinguish internal investigations from criminal investigations. The former are private, voluntary, and focused on organizational learning, while the latter are public, mandatory, and conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office with punitive and legal liability objectives. The present study seeks to identify the results obtained from the application of the Social Skills Component of a social Program “Adereza tu vida sin drogas ni violencia”, in students of the primary level of an area of Huaycán. In order to respond the aims of the study, the qualitative approach, participatory action research design, and an initial and formative evaluation system were used; 42 girls and 41 boys, aged between 9 and 10 years, participated in the study; most of them are at the age of 9; all participants attend the 5th grade of primary school. The systematization of a relevant experience such as the training of 21 in-service teachers with the use of an action-research component was aimed at documenting and writing what happened, as well as explaining the results achieved as a result of the intervention. The aim was to interpret the experience critically, to learn from it and improve future practice. The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results suggest that the component favored teachers to question their own beliefs about teaching and strengthen their abilities to make teaching problematic. They also suggest that these changes occur in training events that include spaces for reflection and discussion about beliefs and practices.

Se ha encontrado que el craving es uno de los mejores predictores de recaídas, por lo que resulta importante abordarlo durante el tratamiento para las adicciones. El Programa de Intervención Breve para Adolescentes (PIBA) ha demostrado ser eficaz para reducir el patrón de consumo de drogas, aumentar la autoeficacia para enfrentarse a situaciones de consumo y disminuir los problemas asociados al consumo en adolescentes que se encuentran en escuelas de nivel medio o medio superior, así como en instituciones de atención de adicciones de tipo ambulatorio. Objectives. To determine the effects of aerobic exercise on the components of the metabolic syndrome in older diabetic patients. Materials and methods: We used the PubMed/Medline, Scopus, Cochrane library, Web of Science databases and the Google Scholar search engine. Randomized controlled trials ( RCTs ) were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Two review authors independently determined whether studies met the inclusion criteria, extracted data and used the Cochrane risk of bias (ROB 2.0) tool. Quantitative analyzes were performed in R V. 4.0.5 using random effects. Results. The searches identified 8697 studies, of which 7 RCTs were included in the qualitative synthesis. Most studies were assessed to have high or low ROB in at least three domains. El presente estudio tuvo por objeto describir el nivel de inteligencia emocional que presentan los suboficiales en servicio que reciben atención en un centro de salud de la Policía Nacional del Perú. Empleándose para el estudio un diseño descriptivo, donde participaron como muestra 120 suboficiales en actividad, varones y mujeres, de la Policía Nacional del Perú. El instrumento empleado fue el inventario de inteligencia emocional Bar On ICE, para adultos, adaptado y validado en nuestro medio por Ugarriza. El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las categorías de cultura de paz, civismo y derechos humanos en el marco de la formación ciudadana en contextos educativos. Se desarrolló una investigación documental de enfoque cualitativo, sustentada en una perspectiva hermenéutica, cuyas unidades de análisis estuvieron conformadas por literatura académica, textos normativos y artículos especializados sobre educación en valores y ciudadanía global. The design of educative programs created to develop the middle school students´ skills is a recurrent subject in educational literature. The aim of this article is to find evidences that support an enrichment program oriented to improve motivation and engagement in gifted students. The sample of sixty students (10-12 years old) was taken from a Peruvian middle school. The instrument used in this study were the School Attitude Assessment Survey-Revised (SAAS-R) (Siegle y McCoach, 2005) to measure motivation and a rubric revised by experts to measure engagement.
