Introduction: Tractional-regmatogen combined retinal detachment occurs when traction from an adjacent area of fibrovascular proliferation causes retinal rupture. Clinical case: A 56-year-old male patient was admitted with decreased visual acuity in OD, associated with myodesopsias, metamorphopsias and photopsias. The evaluation found a visual acuity of perception of hand movement at 10 cm in OD; anterior segment biomicroscopy with slit lamp showed an opacity of crystalline C2 P2 and an intraocular pressure of 10 mmHg. Scallion (Allium fistulosum) is a highly perishable green vegetable due to its moisture content, its high metabolic rate and their poor conditions of post-harvest during to harvest and transport. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between visual deterioration´s product and changes generated in the mechanical and acoustic properties of the same. The scallion grown in Aquitania, Boyacá Colombia was stored under different conditions of storing: vacuum packed (10 mbar) and unpacked (HR 68%) and storage temperature 4 ºC and 16 ºC until deterioration by visual appearance. The acoustic mechanical changes in firmness, crispness and fracture for unpacked scallion and stored at 4 °C occurred on day 15 of storage, and visual deterioration on day 13. Introduction: Vision is critical in all aspects and stages of life. Myopia is the second cause of visual impairment worldwide and the prevalence of childhood myopia is increasing at an alarming rate, so a single treatment intervention is not sufficient and interventions that slow its progression should be combined. Objective: to determine the effect of atropine in 0.01% ophthalmic drops combined with optical correction interventions to slow the progression of childhood myopia. Technology integration in teaching people with disabilities is essential and has generated the so-called assistive technologies. Among them, digital manufacturing technologies, considered transformative, have made personalization faster and access easier and more affordable, mainly for the visually impaired. This research combines a literature review with bibliometrics to evaluate the application of digital fabrication technologies in the learning process of students with visual disabilities. Likewise, it analyzes its contribution to implementing explicit instruction, a fundamental and transversal methodology for teaching people with and without visual disabilities. It offers a multisensory educational experience and can potentially increase the number of inclusive educational spaces.

The present research consists of the branding development for a socks label called ‘Söco’, taking as the main element the corporate design manual. The brand aspires to combine style and creativity, with quality and comfort. Likewise, to create balance between fantasy and youth with elegance and minimalism. The aim is to reinvent this garment’s supply in the local fashion industry through classic designs but adding a fun twist with the implementation of the graphic line and the storytelling. Also, giving relevance to an accessory that even though is not always considered relevant, it can turn out to be a great addition for teenagers and young adult’s wardrobes. Additionally, as a part of the background, the character that started the project will be introduced. Lastly, the development of the brand’s personality is complemented through digital marketing.

El artículo analiza el mediometraje At Home (Gucci, 2020) —primer capítulo de Ouverture of Something That Never Ended— desde un enfoque sociomaterial y posthumano para analizar cómo el fashion film articula dispositivos de control y estetiza el cuerpo. Metodológicamente, combina cartografía de actores (humanos y no humanos), seguimiento de agencias y construcción de ensamblajes, integrando teoría del actor-red con materialidad agencial (Barad, 2007; Bennett, 2022). Social media networks, especially those where the use of images plays a key role, are a fundamental tool for fashion brands to be perceived as sustainable. The purpose of the present investigation is to analyze the elements and colors used by the 10 fashion corporations with the highest scores in the sustainability rankings when they share photographs and illustrations to Instagram and analyze the differences between publications related to sustainability and those that are not. Based on the history of posts from the 61 brands that make up these 10 corporations (277,955), those that include a term related to sustainability were identified, obtaining a sample of 12,639 publications. This paper studies the arguments and mobilization strategies used by the pro-life movement in Argentina on Instagram during the debates about the legalization of abortion in 2018. To analyse these strategies, we compiled a corpus, which includes the images published over eleven months by the two accounts of the pro-life associations with most followers on Instagram. The analysis combines two methods: visual content analysis and multimodal critical discourse analysis. Results show that these accounts used different mobilization repertoires (Unidad provida aimed at mobilizing the supporters even at a local level, while Unidos por las dos vidas wanted to persuade the followers, impact them, and stigmatize women). Objective: The aim of this study is to identify differences in aesthetic perception regarding incisal plane edging (IPC), midline deviation (MLD), and maxillary dental midline angulation (MLA) among natural individuals, undergraduate students, and graduate students at a Peruvian university. Material and methods: A photograph of a subject was digitally manipulated to generate a symmetrical facial model (SFM). Subsequently, alterations were introduced to the incisal plane and dental midline, incorporating variations in deviations and angulations with distinct values. This study was undertaken to expand the current knowledge of the morphology and morphometry of rostellar hooks of protoscoleces from the metacestode E. granulosus. Protoscoleces were isolated from livers and lungs of naturally infected ovines and bovines obtained from abattoirs in Peruvian provinces (Arequipa, Cuzco, Puno, Huancavelica and Junin). Brightfield microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy, differential interference contrast and variable pressure scanning electron microscopy were used. Morphometry was made using computer image analysis. The application of these assay indicated that the large hooks frequently had thin guards and an irregular surface between the guard and handle. Data also showed that the small hooks presented rounded and stout guards. The blade did not show any relevant feature. This study explores the predominant mathematical thinking style that students with academic talent used in solving mathematical problems. Thinking styles are preferences by subjects in the way of expressing mathematical skills against a task, in this case, visual, formal and integrated. We assessed 99 students from an academic support talent program, in a retrospective ex post facto study with only one group. We administered the questionnaire mathematical thinking styles of Borromeo-Ferri and determined that these students exhibited mostly an integrated style of thinking, which involves the use of symbols and verbal representations with visual expressions in solving mathematical exercises. They also show a strong orientation to address the problems of combined mode, which involves considering them as a whole at a time.
