This paper approaches masculinity through the study of the body, taking into account its aesthetics tounveil a subject not well documented and to explore the experience and representation of masculinity in a socioeconomic sector that is not well known. The research on masculinities in Latin America and the world, point out three essential components: the persistent demonstration of masculinity; the distinction between feminine and homosexual; and the control of emotions. This research shows that, in the social sector explored, the concept of masculinity widens and the three components that were pointed out before, are reduced in intensity; meanwhile we foresee the importance of the body as an individuation factor and as an esthetic innovation. Through the practice of ethnography in two independent design stores in Lima, we observe that the appearance is produced when the personal...

Online translator training has grown considerably in recent years. The virtual classroom modality presents new challenges for instructors, including the need to address the students’ important socio-affective aspects. The socio-affective element in a virtual learning environment directly influences the learning process. This article is based on a socio-constructivist and socio-affective theoretical foundation, a collaborative and contextual pedagogical framework, and a prior survey of recent graduates from an online translation program. We present a didactic proposal focused on the explicit use of socio-affective learning strategies in a virtual translation training program to compensate for the lack of physical presence. The purpose is to improve both the learning process and the translation product. The strategies and tactics proposed are aimed at increasing learner satisfaction, aca...

The objective of this study was to develop conditional physical abilities such as strength and speed in order to improve the physical condition of students, motivating them to perform any type of activity that involves personal movement for fun. The game was the fundamental piece to carry out this research, where a quantitative approach was used and the type of research was quantitative observation with a descriptive approach based on the figures used; The instrument used was the physical aptitude test granted by INEFI, this measures conditional physical abilities and also uses height and weight, together with age to measure the person's BMI. The results suggest that if children have difficulty developing the physical abilities of strength and speed, but through recreational play, it can be improved. As conclusions, the study shows that recreational games are an effective strategy to imp...

Hyperdivergent Skeletal Class II malocclusion is one of the most difficult to treat due to the different components involved in this type of malocclusion, whether due to maxillary or mandibular involvement or both. The objective of this review is to update the knowledge on how the occlusal plane influences the anticlockwise rotation of the mandible, which is a key point in the successful treatment of hyperdivergent skeletal Class II malocclusion due to mandibular retrusion. Two different approaches are also presented in the management of the occlusal plane and therefore of the vertical dimension in this type of patient; the first emphasizes molar intrusion as a vertical control measure to avoid a mandibular clockwise rotation and the other bases the treatment on molar extrusion increasing the postero-superior vertical dimension which could bring the mandible to a more advanced, physiol...

The objective was to determine the correlation between gamification and motivation. It was developed through quantitative, non-experimental and correlational research. We worked with a census population of 253 students of regular basic education. To obtain data, the Gamification Observation Guide by García (2020) and the MSLQ Motivation Questionnaire by T. García et al. (1988). The results indicated that there is a very low, significant relationship of 0.025 (p value = 0.0694> 0.05). It is concluded that gamification is not related to the motivation of the students, most of the teachers, in the development of their classes, do not use digital tools - a necessary element in the delivery of classes at a distance and virtually due to the difficult situation caused by COVID-19. Likewise, teachers suffer from inexperience in handling social networks, videoconferences and online forms.
