The article focuses on a new problem that requires an adequate legal answer that respects the rights of the persons with disabilities: are all persons with disabilities incapacitated for work? This question tries to make a critical assessment of the traditional systems of social security that assumed that any disability led to the end of the productive life. However, that differs completely from the view of the social model of disability that states that disability comes from the social barriers and not from the persons. If disability is not the same as incapacity to work, how and when should this latter figure be applied? The existence of both figures requires us to differentiate them. The hypothesis is that these figures are different but may coexist at the same time.

The article tries to illustrate how the debate on the right to euthanasia can be rethought in the post-Covid society. It is claimed that the legalization of euthanasia generates a risk to the life and integrity of the people who are granted the right to die, the patients with a severe chronic disease. The pandemic has highlighted the enormous vulnerability of these patients in the exercise of their right to health protection and the need for more effective legal protection for their lives. Similarly, the health crisis allows us to re-dimension the real demands of the hypothetical recipients of the new Euthanasia’s law, and these have less to do with the right to death than with the right to life and equal access to available medical treatment.

Todavía hay pocos estudios que relacionen la victimización por bullying y la satisfacción con la vida. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto mitigador del apoyo de las figuras adultas (en la escuela y en el hogar) sobre la relación entre la victimización por bullying y la satisfacción con la vida que experimentan los adolescentes. Con este fin, se evaluó una muestra de 5774 adolescentes de 71 escuelas públicas ubicadas en los vecindarios violentos de Lima (Perú). Se realizó un análisis de moderación para evaluar el papel moderador del apoyo a las figuras adultas desde el hogar y la escuela. Los resultados muestran que el apoyo de los adultos en el hogar y la escuela mitiga el efecto negativo de la victimización por bullying en la satisfacción con la vida, y este efecto es mayor en el caso del apoyo en el hogar para adultos. This article assesses the pros and cons of a basic income grant and estimates the financial cost of paying a similar benefit to very specific groups in Peru. This is an old concept in the economic literature and is associated with a “negative income tax”. A universal basic income grant can be an adequate instrument to smooth consumption and distribute some purchasing power to the poor. The shift in effective demand after paying a basic income can have important multiplier effects on small local markets and on the creation of work opportunities. The exercise suggests that the implementation of such instrument should be gradual and accompanied by a substantial increase in general government revenues. Puno is the first rainbow trout producing region in Peru. The objective of the study was to study the feasibility of giving added value to trout. The cost analysis and financial viability of the production of six types of canned pickled trout preserves were considered. The fillets were obtained from trout fed with three commercial foods (Salmofood®, Naltech® and Tomasino®) and the preserves had two presentations (can vs. glass). The production costs were calculated through a documented record of data at market prices. The general theory of production costs was applied and through the cash flow financial tool the profitability indicators were found. The article aims to raise awareness of the importance of civil liability for damages caused to dogs, that is, in situations where a dog is the victim of harm, whether due to acts of abuse, cruelty, or the death of a dog, arising from a contractual or extracontractual relationship. This is due to the relationships of affection and attachment toward dogs, as they are considered an integral part of many families. The methodology used is qualitative, descriptive, and explanatory. Documentary analysis of specialized literature, police reports, analysis of court rulings, and national regulations was used. The results demonstrate that, independent of administrative and criminal proceedings, civil litigation can be used to seek compensation, especially when alleging moral damages due to the affection and feelings felt toward the dog.

Remains of an individual of Stenocercus ornatissimus were found on the trail between the districts of San Damián and Antioquia in the province of Lima, Peru, in 2023. The remains indicated that the individual became trapped in the ring of a milk can while attempting to enter it. Such an event has never been reported for this species, nor for any other lizard species in this country. This finding highlights a potential threat to the population of S. ornatissimus, which is already considered near threatened and declining.

Our legislation has regulated the acquisition of heritage rights subject to the condition of the live birth of the conceived; however, its protection under the scope of legal security provided by the registry is not entirely clear. Therefore, the analysis of the figure that regulates article 1 of the Civil Code is of utmost importance to establish guidelines and prior considerations to be taken into account in the preparation of the contract, its registration qualification, and, finally, the registration of the definitive heritage right. In short, these are guidelines that are blurred throughout our regulatory system and it will be compiled in this paper for analysis.
