El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las operaciones del faenamiento que afectan el bienestar animal en los mataderos de la Región del Bío-Bío. Estos se identificaron como Matadero 1, 2, 3 y 4. Los datos se obtuvieron mediante una solicitud al portal “Chile Transparente” del Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero. Los datos fueron proporcionados en hojas de cálculo de Microsoft Excel® para su posterior análisis y discusión. La información se clasificó en dos áreas, interna y externa. Dentro del área interna, se trabajó con un registro de 3219 bovinos, evaluándose la sensibilización, sangrado, tiempo entre ellos y si se observaron signos de sensibilidad. When being in love, dopamine levels increases, generating attention, desire and motivation in everything related to the beloved person. Serotonin, however, is present in low levels in this state. When the body does not supply the necessary amount of dopamine, oxytocin is released. Oxytocin is vital in long term relationships. Understanding the mechanism of oxytocin in humans is crucial not only for academic knowledge of the chemistry of love but also because it provides new lights for the treatment of some psychological disorders.

La temperatura superficial del mar osciló de 14,16 °C en septiembre a 17,44 °C en febrero, a 100 m cambió de 12,13 °C en septiembre a 13,99 °C en julio, se presenció rezagos de Aguas Subtropicales Superficiales (ASS) en febrero. El oxígeno superficial presentó tenores mayores a 4,0 mL/L en febrero, entre 2,0 y 4,0 mL/L el resto del año, presentó una proporcionalidad directa con el pH. Las concentraciones de nutrientes estuvieron dentro de los rangos promedio superficiales publicados para la costa de Perú. Technological innovation in the control of myoelectric prostheses is essential for improving the functionality of people with motor disabilities. This study aimed to design and implement a non-invasive system for acquiring electromyographic (EMG) signals to classify basic upper limb movements using neural networks. The experimental methodology included hardware design, subject preparation, and EMG signal capture in three hand states (extended, relaxed, and closed). Disposable electrodes with conductive gel were placed on the forearm muscles, and a SichyRay board was used to amplify and digitize signals at 1 kHz and 10 bits. Purpose: To determine the relationship that exists between certified nurses’ knowledge about bio-security measuresand its application in medical service at the “Hipólito Unanue” General Hospital for the 2009. Methodology: Thepresent study was descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional; the sample for this study was obtained from 26certified nurses who work for medical service assistant area, utilizing a questionnaire and an observation guide asresearch instruments. En este estudio se investiga el uso de residuos de la agroindustria de exportación en el Perú, específicamente de la semilla de palta Hass, en el proceso de pirólisis para obtener bio-oil y biochar. El proceso se lleva a cabo en un reactor tubular al vacío a una velocidad de calentamiento de 8.4°C/min, con un tamaño de partícula inferior a 2 mm, a temperaturas de 300°C, 400°C y 500°C por un periodo de tres horas y tres réplicas. Los hallazgos sugieren que la temperatura influye significativamente en el rendimiento del bio-oil y del biochar. Los resultados muestran que el mayor rendimiento de bio-oil (46.47%) se obtiene a 500°C, mientras que el mayor rendimiento de biochar (45.33%) se obtiene a 300°C. For the present research work, the main objective was to evaluate the effect of pyrolenous acid and the optimal dose for the germination of watermelon, cocona and cacao seeds; the randomized complete design statistical model was used, the factors under study were: pyrolenous acid dose obtained from Bambú, Pisonay and Cético (1, 10, 100 ml) and seeds of the three mentioned species, we worked with 9 treatments and a control plus three repetitions, the variables were: germination percentage and dose. The results indicate significant effects of pyrolenous acid on germination, of cocona seeds, cacao with 96.70%, and 100%, however, there were negative effects for watermelon seeds. The article approaches knowledges and biodiversity maintenance among ecological farmers in the west of Santa Catarina state, Brazil. The intellectual property rights have had direct effects onseed production. Between patents and other systems of control, family farmers deny treating life as a «resource». This paper has adouble aim: firstly, to analyze the intellectual property international panorama over biodiversity and knowledge; secondly, to examine practices of organic smallholders engaged to Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia (an organic farming network born in the southern Brazil) related to alternative forms of knowledge management and production of patent-free seeds. The result is the action which parallels the critique of the decrease on the availability of crop varieties and the effort to multiply seeds and knowledges throughout networks and agro-biodiversity centres.

En febrero y octubre 2019, se caracterizó la estructura bentónica en la Reserva Nacional Sistema de Islas, Islotes y Puntas Guaneras - Punta Coles. Se aplicó un diseño estratificado (Estrato I: 0 – 5 m; Estrato II: 5 – 10 m; y Estrato III: 10 – 15 m), estableciéndose seis transectos perpendiculares a la costa con sus réplicas (n=3) con 18 estaciones. Se utilizaron cuadrantes de 0,0625 m2 para colectar macrobentos (muestreo destructivo) y cuadrantes grillados de 0,25 m2 y 1,0 m2 para organismos sésiles y mayores a 2 cm de longitud (muestreo no destructivo).
