The goal of the present work is to study some properties and applications of the Gamma Function, denoted by Γ. Initially, we use the Lebesgue Integral Theory in order to prove that the improper integral given by Γ is convergent. We describe the extended domain property of Γ, and we also deduce some elementary properties. We present two different ways of proving that B(x, y) = Γ(x)Γ(y)/Γ(x+y) , where B is the Beta Function. Finally, we include some applications of the Gamma Function, between them some serve up as tools on Reliability Engineering.

The aim of this research was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Interpersonal Behaviors Questionnaire in Sport adapted to Peru. Based on Self-Determination Theory, this questionnaire assess the perception of interpersonal behaviors that support or thwart the basic psychological needs of athletes (autonomy, competence, relatedness) by their coaches. 228 university athletes (Mage = 21.24; SD = 2.39) of both sexes participated in the study. The results of the confirmatory factor analyzes showed that a six-factor model obtained good fit index and adequate reliability. Correlational analyzes with variables: life satisfaction, positive and negative affect, satisfaction and frustration of basic psychological needs, and burnout showed satisfactory evidence of convergent and discriminant validity. Thus, it was concluded that the IBQD could be used in the university sports Peruvian ...

This article seeks to clarify the positive relationship between the inclusion of informal organizations under a registry that allows the collection of property tax in response to assistance in the delivery of proof of possession for access to basic services. The methodology has been carried out under a non-experimental and descriptive investigation, which has shown a lack of state capacities to prevent invasions. In addition, there is a weakness in the tax collection capacity for a private group already titled and registered, so an attempt is made to solve a social problem alleging the need, but without a planned municipal management that can mitigate basic care such as health, safety and others. from effective tax collection. The figure of the passive subject of the property tax is adjusted to a literal interpretation. However, reality shows that there is an important and considerable m...

Historically it was thought that the problem of the production of texts had to do, especially with the correct spelling, limiting it to the correct spelling or handwriting. From textual linguistics , this conception has been overcome , it produce a text implies , first, a purpose, an intention, a verbal reaction or extraverbal what I hope to accomplish , for it is collected words, concepts and all information deemed important to achieve it. Second, contextualization occurs, which is to relate ideas, which should be logical and amount of information necessary and sufficient to enable the property, clarity and relevance of discourse, ie consistency. Furthermore, phrases and properly assemble linguistic constructs to achieve fluidity and avoid redundancy, ie cohesion. Also, we must take into account the speaker, as any communicative act should ensure code level that is accessible to the par...

The biblical story of the Tower of Babel, in addition to teaching us the importance of communication, can teach us how important it is to establish certain basic rules when sharing a space with other people. These basic rules can be seen embodied, contemporarily, in the rules of condominiums. In the article, the authors explore the nature of these regulations, their basic contents and the functions they perform. Mainly, the bylaws serve to reduce transaction costs between the parties involved, so that they can reach agreements that allow coexistence in a scenario of own and common property.

The scientific literature consistently demonstrates the benefits for physical and mental health obtained from activities in natural environments instead of urban ones. Such is the case of surfing, a sport practiced in contact with nature. This study uses the psychological needs theory from self-determination theory (Ryan & Deci, 2017) to explain why surfing is so beneficial. This study investigated the relationship between contact with nature, basic psychological needs (satisfaction and frustration), vitality, and negative affect in 236 amateur athletes of various surfing modalities (bodyboard, longboard, surfing, paddleboard, and bodysurf). The examination of the psychometric properties of the instruments showed adequate evidence of validity and reliability. Results from path analysis showed that contact with nature was associated with greater vitality and lower negative affect —t...

This research work aims to analyze the psychometric properties of the Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Frustration Scale (BPNSFS) -autonomy, competence and relatedness- identified by the self-determination theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000b), in a sample of 297 university students from different faculties and programs belonging to a Chilean university. To achieve the objective, through a psychometric study by confirmatory procedures, a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed, analyzing the six-factor proposal developed by Chen et al. (2015), and the internal consistency of the scale was evaluated using the ordinal Alpha. The outcomes obtained from the sample of university students indicate a good internal consistency, Alpha = 0.90 and 0.86 for psychological needs satisfaction and frustration. Besides, the outcomes of the confirmatory factor analysis showed an adequate fit ...
