This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.

The author analyzes the problem of the application of life imprisonment in the crime of rape of minors, provided for in Article 173 of the Peruvian Criminal Code. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) are independent methodologies, that can be used and developed freely, but can be an important enhancer when you want to achieve innovation if they work together. The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the customers’ requirements in a product manufactured with biodegradable materials, the output result when applying the QFD was the quality critic related to toxicity, while the input information for the matrix TRIZ’s technical contradictions were the translation of the quality critic to one of the 39 technical design parameters, corresponding to parameter 30 (Harmful factors acting on the object from outside), being considered as the transfer point between the methodologies thus achieving the integration of both.

El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar la convergencia de una extensión del método del punto proximal para minimizar una clase de funciones no convexas sobre el ortante no negativo y dar algunas aplicaciones del método en la solución de modelos económicos que aparecen en microeconomía. Los procedimientos utilizados fueron la recopilación de información en revistas científicas y textos especializados, el estudio de los mismos y finalmente el uso de herramientas matemáticas para estudiar la convergencia de la sucesión del método. Los resultados del estudio nos muestran que, bajo algunas hipótesis adecuadas, las iteraciones generadas por el método están bien definidas y la sucesión converge débilmente a un punto de KKT.

The aim of this work is to study the convergence of a extension of the proximal point method for minimizing a class of nonconvex functions on the nonnegative orthant and give some applications of the method in the solution of economics models which appears in microeconomy. The used procedures were the collection of information in scientific journals and specialized books, the study of the same and finally the use of mathematical tools to study the convergence of the sequence of the method. The results show that, under some appropriate assumptions, the iterations generated by the method are well defined and the sequence converges weakly to a KKT point.

Research of pre experimental type. The present research aimed to identify significant differences between pre and post test moments after an application of a program of scientific experiences in a sample of 20 children of 5 years old from preschool level of the Breña distric (capital of Lima). For this purpose, an instrument was developed to measure the observation and problem solving components. For treatment were developed 20 sessions of scientific experiences with focus on discovery learning. The findings corroborated that there was a significant improvement in research ability and in its three components; with significance less than 0.05. From descriptive results, a higher benefit was demonstrated in problem solving dimension reflected in its measuring ranges.

Los mismos que generalizan los resultados dados hasta ese entonces, tanto por G. Peano y É. Picard. Convirtiéndose en un instrumento valioso en muchos campos de la ingeniería mecánica, eléctrica, civil etc. Para tal efecto, se introduce primero las definiciones y nociones básicas en el área de las ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias, así como también los principales resultados relacionados con la teoría de la medida y el análisis funcional.

El artículo trata sobre la aplicación de la teoría sociocultural del aprendizaje de Vygotsky en la solución del problema de las dificultades en el aprendizaje en las matemáticas. Primero se identifica y describe el problema educativo, luego, con la teoría de Vygotsky del paso de la zona de desarrollo real a la zona de desarrollo próximo, se plantea cómo el docente puede conseguir este paso en el aprendizaje de la operación de la adición en niños. Es necesario que el docente maneje instrumentos para el diagnóstico de la zona de desarrollo real y para planificar las zonas de desarrollo próximo en el aprendizaje de las matemáticas. El docente no debe pasar a la siguiente zona de desarrollo próximo, si no ha logrado que el alumno convierta en zona de desarrollo real la zona de desarrollo próximo anterior. The article deals with the application of Vygotsky's sociocultural theory of learning in solving the problem of learning difficulties in mathematics. First, the educational problem is identified and described, then, with Vygotsky's theory of the transition from the zone of real development to the zone of proximal development, it is propounded how the teacher can achieve this transition in the addition operation learning in children. It is necessary for the teacher to use instruments for the diagnosis of the zone of real development and for planning the zones of proximal development in the mathematics learning. The teacher should not pass to the next zone of proximal development if he has not achieved that the student converts into a zone of real development the previous zone of proximal development.
